Safe Work Environment. Unit members shall notify their immediate supervisor in writing concerning an unsafe or unsanitary condition in the District directly affecting their physical welfare or the physical welfare of others. The immediate supervisor shall acknowledge receipt of the written report by initialing and dating the original notification. Such initials acknowledge receipt only. The immediate supervisor shall investigate said reported unsafe or unsanitary condition and advise the unit member in writing of any findings and/or suggested corrective action within ten (10) working days of the receipt of the written notification.

Any teacher who misses school because of an assault by a student shall not have that time deducted from sick leave until such time as the teacher qualifies for disability benefits. The School Corporation shall reimburse the teacher for all medical expenses the teacher incurs in such a situation, which are not covered by another source (such as insurance) up to, but not to exceed, medical insurance co- pays and deductibles which will be based solely on West Noble's group health policy. With respect to property damage, reimbursement or payment shall be limited to the teacher's deductible amount or the sum of one thousand dollars ($1,000), whichever is less, if the damage occurs off school premises. If the damage occurs on school premises the payment shall be limited to the teacher's deductible or the sum of one thousand dollars ($1,000), whichever is less.

ESI and its Workers will comply with all health and safety laws, regulations, ordinances, directives, and rules imposed by controlling federal, state, or local governments, and will immediately report all work related accidents involving the Worker within 24 hours to Client.

The School Committee is committed to proactively working to build an inclusive, positive school climate – one that fosters student and staff health and development to each individual’s fullest potential – and to the development of respectful human relations at all levels and among all ages. To that end, the District has adopted and will enforce policies on the following: Non-Discrimination, Anti-Harassment, and Anti-Bullying. Safe Work Environment. The grantee must institute safeguards as necessary and appropriate to ensure the safety of members. Members may not participate in projects that pose undue safety risks. Safe Work Environment. 27.A.1. The District shall strive to maintain a safe, hygienic, and sanitary working environment as defined by law and regulations and no professor shall be required to work in unsafe conditions or to perform tasks that endanger their health, safety, or well-being to the extent mandated by law. The District shall take prompt corrective action to eradicate all known cases of toxins and hazards to the extent mandated by law.

Client agrees that it will comply with all health and safety laws, right-to-know laws, regulations, ordinances, directives and rules imposed by controlling federal, state, and local government, and that it will immediately report all accident and injuries to PEM. Client agrees to make "light duty work" available in the event of light duty release. PEM reserves the right to locate a light duty release employee at another location within a 100-mile radius of the employee's residence. Failure by Client to adhere to this provision of the Florida Workers' Compensation Act could cause a fine to be assessed against Client in an amount not to exceed $2,000,000 per violation.
Safe Work Environment. Central Health supports and promotes a healthy environment for all. This extends to the workplace environment. Central Health expects and requires that any entity with whom we engage comply with all governing regulations, inclusive of Federal, State and local provisions. While developers (Owners) typically defer, if not avoid, construction “means and methods”, operations and on-site safety involvement and leave such efforts to contractors, Central Health anticipates that a robust and comprehensive on-Site safety program which incorporates general compliance with the Better Builder Program Standards or more stringent standards for the Site and Program. Developer - Contractor agreements shall include appropriate terms to uphold these duties. The Site Safety plan must be credible, real, and at minimum, ensure enforcement and compliance with Federal Safety and Health Regulations for Construction (29 CFR 1926 - OSHA).
