Sportsmanship. Both our club and league (NorCal Premier) understand and value the importance of good sportsmanship. The end result is players who understand the value(s) of civility and respect for others in their relationships both on and off the soccer field. Parents must be helped to develop a “long term” view of our wonderful sport that places more emphasis on the development of more skillful players and teams than the winning of games. Coaches and players should show maximum respect for the game by always respecting the opposition, the referees and each other. Parents will also be required to exhibit the same respect for the game by only showing positive support for the team.
