Staff and Volunteers a. Maintain adequate staff, as required by governing federal, State laws and county requirements, to fulfill the service provision(s). The staffing requirements necessary for the successful delivery of services are described in Exhibit A: Scope of Services and at rates and amounts identified in Exhibits B-Budget Allocation Summary, and Attachment 1 to Exhibit B-Budget & Reimbursement Provisions. b. Volunteers may also assist Service Provider in meeting service obligations. Procedures for acquiring, utilizing and retaining volunteers shall be separate from staff and subcontractors, yet may include similar requirements. c. As applicable to the specific service being provided, staff and volunteers will maintain appropriate credentials, provide a current and valid license, pass background check, have experience and/or be otherwise qualified to perform and deliver the services. d. Staff, volunteer and subcontractor time, in hours, spent providing service(s) and service related activities shall be documented and reported as required and requested. e. Record(s) for each staff and/or volunteer shall contain proof of staff and volunteer mandated requirements as needed by the service(s) requirements and shall be maintained and retained by Service Provider.
Staff and Volunteers. 11.1 The Service Provider shall employ sufficient and properly trained staff to ensure that the Services are provided at all times and in accordance with the Specification. The Service Provider shall ensure that a sufficient number of staff is available to provide the Services in accordance with the Specification during staff holidays or absence through sickness or any other cause. 11.2 The Service Provider shall carry out checks, as required by law, through the Data Barring Service on all staff employed in the Services. 11.3 The provisions of this Clause 11 shall also apply to any volunteers used by the Service Provider in the provision of the Service.
Staff and Volunteers. The AJC undertakes to operate sound recruitment, selection and vetting procedures, which will include confirmation of Jersey employment/residency status and DBS checks, where appropriate. The AJC undertakes to provide or allow access to appropriate training and development to ensure that the Committee, staff and volunteers are competent to undertake their duties. The AJC will ensure that the Committee, staff and volunteers are properly managed and supervised in order to ensure that provision of quality services and in accordance with best practice. The AJC will ensure that the Committee, staff and volunteers operate in an office or service environment which is suitable for purpose and complies with relevant health and safety standards.

GAC is responsible for ensuring that: - 5.1 St Xxxxxxx Arts Centre is properly and adequately managed at all times so that services to users are maintained. 5.2 all staff and volunteers are trained as necessary to provide arts and cultural services to customers. 5.3 sufficient staff and volunteers are provided for events, promotions and arts activities. 5.4 monitoring and management information is provided to GBC as needed.
Staff and Volunteers. Under the conditions to operate the DofE, The Licensed Organisation undertakes to: ‘Approve instructors, supervisors and assessors and ensure that they are properly qualified or experienced for their roles. The approval of an individual as a suitably qualified instructor or assessor rest entirely with the Licensed Organisation’ (Extract from D of E Handbook). Therefore each person involved with the group must be registered with Kirklees Council by submitting a completed staff enrolment form (appendix 4.) and copies of relevant qualifications. The group co-ordinator is responsible for ensuring that all staff and volunteers have a valid enhanced DBS check. Group co-ordinators are responsible for registering staff from their group with Kirklees so that these can be put on the eDofE system.

The Service Provider shall ensure that a sufficient number of staff are available to provide the Service in accordance with the Specification during staff holidays or absence through sickness or any other cause. 15.2 The Service Provider shall carry out checks through the Criminal Records Bureau on all staff employed in the Services. 15.3 Staff will be expected to use due skill, care and diligence in performing the services. 15.4 The Service Provider shall provide sufficient management and supervisory staff to ensure that the staff employed in the provision of the Service by the Service Provider are at all times:- (a) adequately supervised and properly perform their duties to the Contract Specification (b) sufficiently trained and instructed with regard to all relevant policies, rules, procedures and standards of the Service Purchaser. (c) sufficiently trained and instructed with regard to all relevant rules and procedures concerning health and safety at work legislation and able to identify risks or potential safety hazards. (d) sufficiently trained and instructed in the use of any specialist equipment required for the provision of the Service and in the moving and handling of equipment and people. 15.5 The Service Provider assumes full responsibility for its staff and for the actions of such staff while performing the Service pursuant to the Agreement and shall be solely responsible for their supervision, daily direction and control, payment of income including income tax, insurance contributions and levies of any kind, relating to or arising out of the employment of any person employed by the Service Provider, and shall fully and promptly indemnify the Service Purchaser in respect of any liability of the Service Provider in respect thereof. 15.6 The Service Purchaser acting reasonably shall be entitled to require the Service Provider to remove immediately from the performance of the Service any employee the Service Purchaser considers detrimental to the best interests of the Service Purchaser and immediately provide a replacement. Such persons shall not be again employed in the performance of the Services without the permission of the Service Purchaser. Staff and Volunteers. New technologies have become integral to the lives of children and young people in today’s society, both within schools and in their lives outside school. The internet and other digital information and communications technologies are powerful tools, which open up new opportunities for everyone. These technologies can stimulate discussion, promote creativity and stimulate awareness of context to promote effective learning. They also bring opportunities for staff to be more creative and productive in their work. All users should have an entitlement to safe internet access at all times. This Acceptable Use Policy is intended to ensure: • that staff and volunteers will be responsible users and stay safe while using the internet and other communications technologies for educational, personal and recreational use. • that school ICT systems and users are protected from accidental or deliberate misuse that could put the security of the systems and users at risk. • that staff are protected from potential risk in their use of ICT in their everyday work. The school will try to ensure that staff and volunteers will have good access to ICT to enhance their work, to enhance learning opportunities for pupils’ learning and will, in return, expect staff and volunteers to agree to be responsible users.

  • Screening After you sign and date the consent document, you will begin screening. The purpose of the screening is to find out if you meet all of the requirements to take part in the study. Procedures that will be completed during the study (including screening) are described below. If you do not meet the requirements, you will not be able to take part in the study. The study investigator or study staff will explain why. As part of screening, you must complete all of the items listed below: • Give your race, age, gender, and ethnicity • Give your medical history o You must review and confirm the information in your medical history questionnaire • Give your drug, alcohol, and tobacco use history • Give your past and current medication and treatment history. This includes any over-the-counter or prescription drugs, such as vitamins, dietary supplements, or herbal supplements, taken in the past 28 days • Height and weight will be measured • Physical exam will be done • Electrocardiogram (ECG) will be collected. HIV is the virus that causes acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). If your HIV test is positive, you will be told about the results. It may take weeks or months after being infected with HIV for the test to be positive. The HIV test is not always right. Having certain infections or positive test results may have to be reported to the State Department of Health. This includes results for HIV, hepatitis, and other infections. If you have any questions about what information is required to be reported, please ask the study investigator or study staff. Although this testing is meant to be private, complete privacy cannot be guaranteed. For example, it is possible for a court of law to get health or study records without your permission.
