Startup Assistance. Our team will provide assistance with plant start up and training for the new equipment and facilities. WSI will provide operational assistance with key equipment and provide input on data collection forms and spreadsheets. They will also make specific process recommendations during initial process operation, and make information collection and process control recommendations. Startup services will require inspections prior to energizing and testing equipment. Industrial System will review contractor test forms to ensure proper procedures have been followed. The programming portion of the startup services will require individual program testing of equipment and processes to ensure instruments are calibrated correctly, and to ensure motors and drives can be properly controlled. Testing unexpected equipment shutdowns and power failures will be required to ensure the plant responds to abnormal conditions properly. All alarms will be tested during startup. Startup services will also require operator training of the new SCADA system. This includes general operation of the system, remote viewing the system, and acknowledging alarms. Record drawings will also be completed as part of this startup services scope. WSI will provide training for City operational staff on new equipment and processes. They will develop and provide student manuals and conduct classroom and field training related to secondary process control, for a total of three (3) days onsite. WSI will also provide a weekly review of plant operating data (as provided by City operational staff) for a period of up to twelve (12) weeks, and provide telephone support to staff during this time period. Startup Assistance. ENGINEER shall provide assistance with startup, commissioning and project closeout of the new facilities. ENGINEER will provide up to 40 hours for technical support to the CITY during the review of the CM/GCs startup and testing plan. Hour estimate will include meeting with the CM/GC and the CITY to assist during planning and development of the document which should include: • Pre-operational testing, component testing, and check-out • Process Control and Instrumentation Systems (PCIS) testing • Functional testing of systems and subsystems • Performance testing for integrated treatment systems ENGINEER will attend functional tests on an as-needed basis as requested by the CITY. Stantec will budget 40 hours for functional testing during startup.

Related to Startup Assistance

  • Client Assistance You acknowledge that the implementation of the Tyler Software is a cooperative process requiring the time and resources of your personnel. You agree to use all reasonable efforts to cooperate with and assist us as may be reasonably required to meet the agreed upon project deadlines and other milestones for implementation. This cooperation includes at least working with us to schedule the implementation-related services outlined in this Agreement. We will not be liable for failure to meet any deadlines and milestones when such failure is due to Force Majeure or to the failure by your personnel to provide such cooperation and assistance (either through action or omission).

  • Transition Assistance If this Contract is not renewed at the end of this term, if the Contract is otherwise terminated before project completion, or if particular work on a project is terminated for any reason, Contractor shall provide transition assistance for a reasonable, mutually agreed period of time after the expiration or termination of this Contract or particular work under this Contract. The purpose of this assistance is to allow for the expired or terminated portion of the services to continue without interruption or adverse effect, and to facilitate the orderly transfer of such services to State or its designees. The parties agree that such transition assistance is governed by the terms and conditions of this Contract, except for those terms or conditions that do not reasonably apply to such transition assistance. State shall pay Contractor for any resources utilized in performing such transition assistance at the most current Contract rates. If State terminates a project or this Contract for cause, then State may offset the cost of paying Contractor for the additional resources Contractor utilized in providing transition assistance with any damages State may have sustained as a result of Contractor’s breach.

  • Educational Assistance To qualify for reimbursement, an employee must be a regular employee upon enrollment. To be approved, the courses described below must be related to the employee's present position or career development:

  • Legal Assistance The Board shall give full support including legal and other assistance for any assault upon the employee while properly acting in the discharge of his/her duties.

  • Study Assistance An employee who is approved by Australia Post as a student to undertake a course of study or a short course of instruction may be granted reimbursement in full or in part of fees incurred for the course.

  • EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM The District’s Educational Assistance Program will be continued during the life of this Agreement. Employees who wish to enroll in job-related and promotion oriented courses, which will improve their job knowledge, and performance will be compensated by the District for expenses as follows:

  • Mutual Assistance Each party shall assist the other in complying with all applicable requirements of the Data Protection Legislation. In particular, each party shall:

  • Roadside Assistance If you purchase the optional Roadside Assistance, we will provide you with 24/7 breakdown assistance (where available) without additional charge. Roadside Assistance includes replacement of lost keys or key fobs, flat tire service, jumpstart, and key lockout services. When deciding whether to purchase Roadside Assistance, you may wish to check whether you have you have other coverage for the services. Roadside Assistance is not insurance. Roadside Assistance is void if you are in breach of this Agreement, including the prohibited uses in paragraph 5.

  • Educational Assistance Plan The state shall provide up to six credit hours of tuition-free courses per term at a state university or community college to full-time employees on a space available basis as authorized by law.

  • Training Assistance (a) Employees shall be reimbursed for one hundred percent (100%) of the tuition for job-related courses approved by the Employer.
