Length of the Work Day. A. The Superintendent or designee may establish the beginning and ending times of the regular workday as long as they do not require more than 7.5 hours of professional responsibilities. B. Every unit member shall be entitled to one duty-free, uninterrupted 30-minute lunch period daily.

The time between 7:45 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. as well as 2:45 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. is provided for the primary purpose of supervision of students. 3. The time between 8:00 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. is provided primarily for staff instructional responsibilities.

Paraprofessionals shall be paid for all time worked including time spent guiding children on and off the bus. 5.a. Paraprofessionals may be required to attend up to four (4) meetings after the end of the school day during the course of the instructional year. Said meetings will commence not later than fifteen minutes after the end of the students’ instructional day and no paraprofessional shall be required to stay at any such meeting more than sixty (60) minutes after the time specified herein for its start. A paraprofessional required to attend such a meeting shall be notified of this requirement by the building principal or the principal’s designee not later than seven (7) calendar days before the date of the meeting. Paraprofessionals who attend such meetings as directed shall receive on (1) hour’s additional compensation for each such meeting attended.
Length of the Work Day. All Staff 1. For all teachers and therapists, the length of the work day shall be 7.5 hours, inclusive of a 30 minute paid, duty-free lunch period. 2. Flexible hours to accommodate the schedules of parents, families, or business partners may be granted for certain staff members upon mutual agreement between the staff member and his/her coordinator.

Related to Length of the Work Day

  • Cost of the Work The sum of all allowable costs necessarily incurred and paid by Contractor in the proper performance of the Work.

  • Length of Work Year 1. The length of the work year for custodians, accountants, (excluding school lunch accountant), personnel specialist, maintenance, maintenance helpers, mechanics, purchasing coordinator, county receptionist, warehouse and property records coordinator shall be twelve months. 2. The length of the work year for attendance assistant and bus drivers shall be 188 days. 3. The length of the work year for school food service shall be 194 days.

  • Length of School Day 4.4.1 For each school the length of the “school day” shall be determined according to the requirement that students are normally required to be in attendance for two HD, one before noon, the other after noon. 4.4.2 The normal teaching load in respect of any one day is therefore related to that requirement and takes account of the normal timetabling practices of each school.

  • SCOPE OF THE WORK The Contractor shall furnish all the materials, perform all of the Work, and do all things required by the Contract Documents.

  • Length of Service Subject to the requirements of affirmative action and equal employment opportunity, if two or more employees are being considered for the same position and are equal in every respect, the position shall be given to the employee with the greater amount of seniority as defined in Article 28 - Seniority.

  • Construction Period During the construction period, Redeveloper agrees to keep the construction area, including completed operations insured against loss or damage by fire, and such other risks, casualties, and hazards as are customarily covered by builders’ risk or extended coverage policies in an amount not less than the replacement value but allowing for reasonable coinsurance clauses and deductibles. In the event of any insured damage or destruction, Redeveloper agrees to use its good faith efforts to commence restoration of the Private Improvements to its prior condition within nine (9) months from the date of the damage or destruction, and shall diligently pursue the same to completion.

  • Compressed Work Week The Company and Union recognize the concept of the compressed work week. It is further understood that the compressed work week conditions will apply only to those departments that are on the compressed work week.

  • Length of Probationary Period For all classifications, with the exception of those specified in 1801-B, the probationary period is 1,040 compensable hours exclusive of overtime. If federal, state or local law requires a longer probationary period, such law shall prevail. The probationary period for a less than full time employee shall equal the same number of hours (1,040) that have to be served by a full-time employee.

  • Extended Absences In the event Tenant will be away from the Premises for more than 7 consecutive days, Tenant agrees to notify Landlord in writing of such absence. During such absence, Landlord may enter the premises at times reasonable necessary to maintain the property and inspect for damages and needed repairs.
