Temporary Disability Insurance. The Board agreed that they will have a deduction from the employee’s pay for the Temporary Disabil- ity Insurance, at no cost to the Board. Said carrier to be selected by the bargaining unit.
Temporary Disability Insurance. Other than the benefits set forth in Article 5, Section 11, the Township does not offer or participate in a short or long term disability insurance program, including plans offered by the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development. During Open Enrollment an employee may elect to participate in a voluntary employee funded plan (Ex. Aflac, Colonial).
Temporary Disability Insurance. All employees shall be enrolled in the State’s Temporary Disability Insurance Program. In accordance with this State program, the cost shall be borne equally by employees and employer.
Temporary Disability Insurance. All employees shall continue to be covered by the current disability insurance for illness or injury off the job that is provided by the Authority. This benefit shall be paid entirely by the Authority. This benefit shall pay sixty percent (60%) of the employee’s base salary. Additional coverage may be purchased at the employee’s expense.
Temporary Disability Insurance. The Company will provide and pay for the private plan of non-occupational disability benefits currently in effect for full-time employees covered by this Agreement. If at any time during the term of this Agreement the Company is required by law to participate in a State administered plan which provides disability benefits, such employees will receive benefits solely from such State plan.

The Town agrees to deduct form each employee’s salary covered by this Agreement, the required amount to provide coverage under the Rhode Island Temporary Disability Insurance program. Employees may not receive TDI benefits for any period in which they work either full-time or part-time. This includes work done for your regular employer, any other employer or in self-employment. However, if you perform no services but continue to be paid a salary, sick or vacation pay, you are allowed to receive TDI benefits.

Temporary Disability Insurance. (a) The Employer will provide a Temporary Disability Insurance Plan to all employees covered by this Agreement. Benefits will become payable immediately after employees exhaust their ESL, but shall not commence before the eighth (8th) day of disability, and shall continue for twenty-six (26) weeks with a maximum of twenty-six (26) weeks in a benefit year. Employees shall receive fifty-eight percent (58%) of weekly earnings but not more than provided by the Hawaii Temporary Disability Insurance Law. The TDI plan shall be non-contributory for employees.
(b) An employee may request PTO pay to be integrated with TDI benefits so that the employee receives the equivalent of regular pay for those days for which the employee is entitled to receive TDI payments. However, the employee will still be considered to be on medical leave status and not accrue any PTO and/or ESL hours during the leave period.
