The Deputy Minister a. The Deputy Minister is accountable to the Secretary of the Cabinet and the Minister for the performance of the Ministry in providing administrative and organizational support to the NOHFC and for carrying out the roles and responsibilities assigned by the Minister, the Act, applicable MBC and Ministry of Finance directives, and this MOU.
The Deputy Minister. The Deputy Minister, with the support of AESRD, supports and acts under the general direction of the Minister. The Deputy Minister is responsible for the following activities: 2.2.1. Maintains regular contact and communication with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of AEMERA on matters related to AEMERA mandate and operations and reports on AESRD activities that may impact AEMERA. 2.2.2. Chairs the IRMS Committee and coordinates with AEMERA and IRMS partners to develop and communicate the IRMS expectations, strategic goals, guidelines and directions. 2.2.3. Informs AEMERA of Government policies and direction affecting the mandate and operations of AEMERA.
The Deputy Minister. The Deputy Minister is responsible for: (i) advising and assisting the Minister regarding the Minister’s responsibilities for the Agency; (ii) advising the Minister on the requirements of the AEAD, the Government Appointees Directive and other directives applicable to the Agency; (iii) recommending to the Minister, as may be necessary, the evaluation or review including, but not limited to, a risk-based review, of the Agency or any of its programs or changes to the management framework or operations of the Agency; (iv) facilitating regular briefings and consultations between the Chair and the Minister and between the Ministry’s staff and the Agency’s staff; (v) attesting to the TB/MBC, as required, regarding the Agency’s compliance with the mandatory accountability requirements, as set out in the AEAD; (vi) ensuring that the Ministry and the Agency have the capacity and the systems in place for on-going risk-based management including, but not limited to, an appropriate oversight of the Agency; (vii) ensuring that the Agency has an appropriate risk management framework and a risk management plan in place for managing risks that the Agency may encounter in meeting its program or service delivery objectives; (viii) undertaking timely risk-based reviews of the Agency, its management or operations, as may be directed by the Minister or the TB/MBC, from time to time; (ix) establishing a framework for reviewing and assessing the Agency’s business plans and any and all reports; (x) supporting the Minister in reviewing the performance targets, measures and results of the Agency; (xi) advising the Minister on any and all documents submitted by the Agency to the Minister for review, approval or both; (xii) submitting to the Minister, as part of the annual business planning process, a risk assessment and risk management plan for each risk category; (xiii) undertaking reviews of the Agency, as may be directed by the Minister, from time to time; (xiv) cooperating with any and all reviews of the Agency, as directed by the Minister or the TB/MBC, from time to time; (xv) monitoring the Agency, on behalf of the Minister, while respecting the Agency's authority and independence and recommending to the Minister ways of resolving any issues that may arise during such monitoring; (xvi) negotiating a MOU with the Chair, as directed by the Minister; (xvii) consulting with the President/CEO or the Chair, as needed, on matters of mutual importance including, but not limited to, se...

Advising the Minister on the requirements of the AEAD and other directives that may apply to the Centre; iv. Advising the Minister on the operation of the Centre and on any proposals that could affect its status; v. Recommending to the Minister the evaluation or review, including a risk-based review, of the Centre or the changes to the Centre’s management or operations; vi. Attesting to TB/MBC as required, on the Centre’s compliance with all the mandatory requirements of the AEAD. vii. Supporting the Minister in reviewing the performance measures and results of the Centre; viii. Submitting to the Minister as part of the annual planning process, a risk management plan including risk assessment and management plans for each risk category in relation to each objective for the Centre; ix. Advising the Minister on the Centre’s documents submitted to the Minister for review and/or approval; x. Advising and assisting the Minister on meeting assigned ministerial responsibilities with regard to the Centre; xi. Undertaking and co-operating with any review, including timely risk-based reviews of the Centre’s management or operations as directed by the Minister or TB/MBC; xii. Meeting with the Chair as needed or directed; xiii. Meeting with the Executive Director as necessary to discuss matters of mutual importance to the Centre and the Ministry; xiv. Monitoring the Centre as directed by the Minister while respecting the Centre’s independence and authority, and, where warranted, identifying areas for corrective action and recommending to the Minister ways of resolving issues; xv. Negotiating a draft MOU with the Chair of the Centre as directed by the Minister; xvi. Submitting a report to the secretary of MBC on the wind down of the Centre (immediately following the disposition of any assets), the completion of any outstanding responsibilities by the Centre and the end of any appointments.

  • Your Rights and Our Responsibilities After We Receive Your Written Notice We must acknowledge your letter within 30 days, unless we have corrected the error by then. Within 90 days, we must either correct the error or explain why we believe the bill was correct. After we receive your letter, we cannot try to collect any amount you question, or report you as delinquent. We can continue to bill you for the amount you question, including finance charges and we can apply any unpaid amount against your credit limit. You do not have to pay any questioned amount while we are investigating, but you are still obligated to pay the parts of your bill that are not in question. If we find that we made a mistake on your bill, you will not have to pay any finance charges related to any questioned amount. If we didn’t make a mistake, you may have to pay finance charges, and you will have to make up any missed payments on the questioned amount. In either case, we will send you a statement of the amount you owe and the date that it is due. If you fail to pay the amount that we think you owe, we may report you as delinquent. However, if our explanation does not satisfy you and you write to us within ten days telling us that you still refuse to pay, we must tell anyone we report you to that you have a question about your bill. In addition, we must tell you the name of anyone we reported you to. Upon settlement of a disputed bill, we must notify anyone we reported you to that the matter has been settled. If we don’t follow these rules, we can’t collect the first $50 of the questioned amount, even if your bill was correct.

  • Nurse Representatives & Grievance Committee (a) The Hospital agrees to recognize Association representatives to be elected or appointed from amongst nurses in the bargaining unit for the purpose of dealing with Association business as provided in this Collective Agreement. The number of representatives and the areas which they represent are set out in the Appendix of Local Provisions. (b) The Hospital will recognize a Grievance Committee, one of whom shall be chair. This committee shall operate and conduct itself in accordance with the provisions of the Collective Agreement and the number of nurses on the Grievance Committee is set out in the Appendix of Local Provisions. (c) It is agreed that Union representatives and members of the Grievance Committee have their regular duties and responsibilities to perform for the Hospital and shall not leave their regular duties without first obtaining permission from their immediate supervisor. Such permission shall not be unreasonably withheld. If, in the performance of their duties, a union representative or member of the Grievance Committee is required to enter a unit within the hospital in which they are not ordinarily employed they shall, immediately upon entering such unit, report their presence to the supervisor or nurse in charge, as the case may be. When resuming their regular duties and responsibilities, such representatives shall again report to their immediate supervisor. The Hospital agrees to pay for all time spent during their regular hours by such representatives hereunder.

  • Opinion of Tax Counsel for Company and the Operating Partnership The Sales Agent shall have received the favorable opinion of Xxxxxx & Xxxxxxx LLP, tax counsel for the Company and the Operating Partnership, required to be delivered pursuant to Section 7(q) on or before the date on which such delivery of such opinion is required pursuant to Section 7(q).

Repair any damage to the surfaces of the Premises and Common Use Areas caused by use of the surfaces in excess of the approved specifications and planned use or by any oil, gasoline, grease, lubricants or other liquids or substances having a corrosive or detrimental effect thereon; and D. Be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all utility service lines, except common utility lines, if any, including but not limited to, service lines for the supply of water, gas service lines, electrical power and telephone conduits and line, retention ponds, sanitary sewers and storm sewers that are now or that may be subsequently located upon the Premises or Common Use Areas and used by Company exclusively. E. All such maintenance, repair and replacements will be of quality equal to the condition of the Premises at the commencement of the Term of this Agreement.

  • Relationship Manager Inquiry for Actual Knowledge In addition to the electronic and paper record searches described above, the Reporting Financial Institution must treat as Reportable Accounts any High Value Accounts assigned to a relationship manager (including any accounts aggregated with such account) if the relationship manager, has actual knowledge that the Account Holder is a Specified Person.
