Tires. Never inflate a tire beyond the maximum pressure marked on the tire’s sidewall. Exceeding the recommended maximum pressure may blow the tire off the rim, which could cause damage to the Goods and injury to the operator and bystanders. PSI should be measured with an accurate dial gauge.
Tires. The contract between The American Racing Drivers Club (ARDC) and Hoosier Tire will be in effect for 2016 and 2017 ARDC racing seasons. This contract stipulates that Hoosier Tires be used on all four corners of the racecar. Money from Hoosier will be distributed every week in the total purse.
Tires. Carrier shall furnish Equipment with tires and tubes of proper size at the time of interchange. Thereafter, until the Equipment is returned to Carrier, repairs to tires and tubes shall be made by and at the expense of User. When an unserviceable tire or tube is replaced, it must be with a new tire/tube or newly recapped tire. When a tire is replaced, the empty tube should be reapplied if serviceable. User shall return the blown-out or unserviceable tire to Carrier.
Tires. 5.1. The User, at its expense, shall provide proper maintenance to tires including but not limited to proper inflation, repair of flat tires, pulled valve stems, etc. 5.2. In the event of a blowout and/or total failure of a tire after Interchange, the User shall make repairs at User’s expense. The replacement tire shall be properly mated. The User will return the blown out or unserviceable tire with the Equipment and shall retain the replacement tire upon redelivery of the Equipment to the Owner. 5.3. In the event of failure to return the blown out or unserviceable tire, failure to provide proper maintenance, or if the tire is ruined as a result of being run flat or otherwise abused, the User shall reimburse the Owner for the replacement value of the tire as of the time of original Interchange. In the absence of specific information the value shall be U.S.$150.00 (One Hundred Fifty U.S. Dollars) per tire.
Tires. (a) There shall be no recap tires on steering axle of any units. (b) With the purchase of newly manufactured tractors which are placed in service after March 1, 1981, and with the understanding that there will be no retrofit of equipment currently in use, the following shall apply: Where the manufacturer recommends and provides shock absorbers as standard equipment with the tractor front suspension assembly, properly maintained shocks on such new equipment shall be considered as a necessary and integral part of that assembly. Where the manufacturer does not recommend and provide shock absorbers as standard equipment with the tractor front suspension assembly, shocks shall not be considered as a necessary or integral part of that suspension system. Any alleged violation of the above, including maintenance of existing equipment, shall not be cause for refusal of the equipment, but shall be reported to the Employer and the Local Union, and if not corrected promptly, be subject to the grievance procedure and is to be treated as a safety and health issue. (c) As new equipment is ordered or existing equipment requires brake lining replacement, all brake linings shall be of nonasbestos material where available and certifiable.
Tires. All tires shall be matched on each Item of Equipment by the same type and tread design, original size, and manufacturer, and have a minimum of 12/32 inch of remaining tread depth on original or first time only recapped casings without flat or bald spots, cupping, dry rot, exposed cord or cuts in the side-wall. Lessee will pay Lessor a charge for tire wear for each 1/32 of an inch of tread wear on Equipment at the rate specified in the Lease. The tire depth of each tire will be measured by Lessor at the time of the outbound inspection and the inbound inspection at the lowest point of remaining tire tread. Unless otherwise specified in the Lease, the minimum mileage per 1/32 of an inch of tread wear is 12,000 miles for vans and other closed tandem Equipment and 10,000 miles for Equipment with spread axle tandems. If tread wear is in excess of that specified above, excessive tread wear charges will apply at a rate specified in the Lease (“Excessive Tread Wear Charges”). Your trailer may come with new tires, and you should retorque all lug nuts when you receive or pick up the trailer. Per vehicles specs, we recommend to retighten lug nuts after 50-100 miles.

Tires. “Tires” means the tires and if applicable, wheels delivered to Kal Tire by the Customer, and accepted by Kal Tire from the Customer, for storage by Kal Tire.
Tires. The following are acceptable conditions regarding all tires including full size spare tires which must meet the same inspection criteria as a road tire: The space saver spare tire used on most General Motors vehicles does not fall into the same criteria as the four road tires. The space saver spare must be in the vehicle, inflated and undamaged. The minimum 5/32 inch tread depth requirement does not apply. They also may not be the same make as the road tires. 1. All tires must have 5/32 inch or better original tread across all primary tread grooves without any exposed belts. All tires must match by size, make and type. 2. Only GM original equipment tires or GM approved replacement tires are acceptable. Refer to Exhibit F - GM Approved 2012 Replacement Tire Table. 3. When the replacement tire shown in Exhibit F is not available the first step should be to contact the tire manufacturer through the Customer Assistance phone number. This information is located in the Tire Warranty Book included with the vehicle’s warranty information. If the replacement tire cannot be located a replacement exhibiting the same TPC code as the original tire may be used, however, all tires must match by size, make and type. 4. Tires without a TPC rating or when another manufacturer cannot supply the same TPC rated tire, any other OE supplier shown on Exhibit F can be used as long as the tire matches the original by size, load rating and speed rating. The same rule as above will apply, all four tires must match by size, make and type. 5. Tires with mushroom-type plugs, installed from the inside out, in the tread only, are acceptable. All other plugs / patches are not acceptable. General Motors reserves the right to charge the Daily Rental Company via the MET Tire Program for any unacceptable plugged tire found and replaced prior to the sale of the vehicle, with no right to review. 6. Exhibit G - MET Tire Program, provides details for tire replacement under the MET program. This program is available to Daily Rental Companies at their discretion.
Tires. 1. Repair of damage to tires during Motor Carrier’s possession is the sole responsibility of Motor Carrier. 2. Repair of tires unrelated to damage occurring during Motor Carrier’s possession is the sole responsibility of the Operator. 3. In the event of an over the road tire repair, replacement tire, damaged tire, and repair receipt may be brought to the terminating facility Chassis Shop during the day shift, or Power Shop at night. Chassis Shop Manager or Xxxxxxx will inspect the tires and repair receipt to determine if credit is applicable. Signature of Chassis or Power Shop Xxxxxxx on any paperwork the driver may retain only confirms receipt of the aforementioned items and does not signify approval or denial of credit. Once inspection of evidence is complete, a tire credit form will be sent to the Motor Carrier, with reimbursement check sent within twenty-one (21) days. 4. Tire reimbursement forms must be attached to all submitted invoices. 5. Up to a maximum of one-hundred (100) dollars per tire for separated or thrown cap will be reimbursed. 6. The replacement tire is at least equal quality to Chassis Pool tire standard. 7. No reimbursements for damage, i.e., run-flat, blown-out, curbed/scuffed, skidded, chunked, cut to cord, or road debris causes.
