Tools and Supplies. Unless otherwise agreed to by Company in advance, Consultant shall be solely responsible for procuring, paying for and maintaining any computer equipment, software, paper, tools or supplies necessary or appropriate for the performance of Consultant's services hereunder.
Tools and Supplies. The District agrees to provide employees with the necessary tools, equipment, and supplies required by the District for the performance of their duties and to ensure their safety. Employees shall not use personal tools or supplies for the performance of their duties.
Tools and Supplies. The Employer is to provide and maintain all tools and equipment required to perform job related duties.
Tools and Supplies. Supplier shall at its own risk and cost, furnish, repair, and maintain all equipment, tools, and supplies necessary to perform the Services, except as otherwise specified in this Agreement.
Tools and Supplies. 1. Mechanics in the garage are required to provide their own basic tools. The Board, at its discretion, will either repair or replace broken and worn out tools. The repaired or replaced tool is the property of the mechanic.
2. Specialty tools, as determined cooperatively by the administrative supervisor and the mechanics, shall be purchased by the Board and kept in a Board owned tool chest and made accessible to all mechanics in the garage. These tools are the property of the Board.
3. Tools and equipment for maintenance workers shall be provided by the Board of Education. In the event the Union believes certain P.P.E. safety equipment is necessary but has not been provided, the Union should follow up with the Director of Business and Operations with the request and rationale. If the request is denied, the Union will be advised of the reason for the denial. The Union has the right to appeal the denial to the Assistant Superintendent – Human Resources and Operations. If that appeal is denied, the Union may appeal with the Superintendent, whose decision shall be final.
Tools and Supplies. A. Employees in the Transportation Department, so designated by management, shall own a basic set of hand tools that are appropriate for their job classification. Wrenches and sockets shall measure up to one and one-quarter inches (1¼") in size. The School Board shall provide larger sizes when needed. A tool allowance of $100 per year during the life of this Agreement shall be provided to Transportation Mechanics upon receiving a valid tool purchase receipt who are required to provide their own tools. These tools shall be kept clean and in proper working order. Employees in the Maintenance Department shall own a basic set of hand tools that are appropriate for their classification so designated by their supervisor.
B. The Board shall provide tools such as may be needed to perform special mechanical tasks as determined by the Director of Transportation or Maintenance Supervisor. These tools shall include wrenches and sockets over one and one-quarter (1 1/4") inches in size, floor jacks, wheel dollies, pullers, drill bits, air wrenches, maintenance manuals and diagnostic equipment.
C. The Board shall replace tools which are broken or damaged for those employees so designated by management to own a basic set of hand tools. An engraving instrument shall be made available to employees for engraving their personal tools.
D. All employees in this bargaining unit shall be provided with a clip attached photo identification badge. Employees shall wear their identification badge so it is prominently displayed, except where the employee works in an area where safety concerns dictate otherwise, in which case the employee shall keep their identification badge readily accessible. Non-school based employees shall prominently display their photo identification badge if they are present at a school site.
E. Employees who are required to wear steel tip safety shoes shall, upon verification of purchase, be reimbursed up to $65.00 annually for the cost of the shoes which meet OSHA specifications.
Tools and Supplies. 17.1.1 The District agrees to provide tools, equipment and supplies determined necessary, by the District, for the performance of employment duties and consideration of the safety of the employee.
17.1.2 Unit members shall be required to properly care for and use District tools, equipment and/or supplies entrusted to the unit members.
17.1.3 In special classifications, the District and employee may agree in advance in writing that the employee furnish his/her own tools--for example, a mechanic. Tool breakage shall be reimbursed by the District, provided use of the tool was District approved in advance, if the breakage occurs while on school business and provided that the employee was not negligent in the use or proper storage of the tools. The employee shall furnish the District with a list of tools or equipment prior to employment.
Tools and Supplies. 1. Seller shall furnish, operate, calibrate, and maintain in acceptable condition, at no cost to Alcatel, all equipment, tools, materials, and supplies necessary for the performance of the Services (including, at the minimum, at each ***** location, the tools identified in Attachment IV to Exhibit C).
2. Seller shall assume the risk of loss and damage to all Seller or Seller employee owned tools, equipment, and effects caused by fire, extended coverage perils, vandalism, and malicious mischief. Alcatel assumes no liability for any loss of or damage to the property of Seller, its subcontractors and employees unless Alcatel causes such loss.

Seller shall furnish, operate, calibrate, and maintain in acceptable condition, at no cost to Alcatel, all general equipment, tools, materials, supplies, and if directed by Alcatel, test equipment necessary for the performance of the Services (including, at the minimum, at each installation location, the tools identified in Attachment IV to this Exhibit). One-time use special purpose equipment and tools will be negotiated on a per project basis.
1.5.3. Seller shall assume the risk of loss and damage to all Seller or Seller employee owned tools, equipment, and effects caused by fire, extended coverage perils, vandalism, and malicious mischief. Alcatel assumes no liability for any loss of or damage to the property of Seller, its subcontractors and employees unless Alcatel causes such loss.
Tools and Supplies. Each Employee referred to the Employer by the Union shall have in his or her possession suitable personal tools, as per the Employee’s Handbook, to accomplish the assigned duties. Whenever possible, the Employer shall provide a secure area for Employees to store their tools. The Employer shall be held harmless for loss, damage, or theft of tools stored in this area. Employees shall be responsible for providing the personal protective equipment deemed the responsibility of the worker under the Workers Compensation Board (WorkSafe BC) Occupational Health and Safety regulation, and its successor regulations. Personal protective equipment currently deemed the responsibility of the worker under this regulation consists of: • clothing needed for protection against the natural elements • general purpose work gloves • appropriate footwear including safety footwear • safety headgear The Employer shall provide, at no cost to the Employee, all other items of personal protective equipment required by the Workers Compensation Board (WorkSafe BC) Occupational Health and Safety regulation, and its successor regulations.
