Turf Fertilization. Contractor shall use only fertilizers for urban turf that are formulated and have application instructions in accordance with requirements and directions provided by Rule 5E-1.003, Florida Administrative Code, Labeling Requirements for Urban Turf Fertilizers. Contractor shall not exceed the annual nitrogen recommendations in the Fertilizer Guidelines for Established Turfgrass Lawns in the climatic regions of Florida as provided on the label. Contractor shall obtain a soil analysis before planting. Soil samples shall be analyzed for pH, lime requirement, and available plant nutrients (P, K, Ca, and Mg). Contractor shall adjust fertilizer rates to achieve healthy, mature, desirable growth. Turf Fertilization. Turf fertilization shall be conducted only at the written request of the City Technical Representative. Fertilization is completed two (2) times per year. Once between December 20th – January 10th and once between October 1st – 10th. When authorized, turf fertilization shall be compensated at the rates established for Extraordinary Labor on the Pricing pages (See Exhibit I). Prior to undertaking any fertilization work within a Contract Area, the Contractor shall provide a written recommendation regarding the method and type of fertilizer to be used in each Contract Area along with the proposed pricing, the Material Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for each product proposed to be used in the Contract Area, and a schedule of application showing the site, date, and approximate time of application of the fertilizer. The Contractor shall not begin any fertilization until approved by the City and Contractor has received written authorization from the City Technical Representative for the type of fertilizer and work schedule for such activities. The Contractor shall inform the City Technical Representative at least forty-eight (48) hours before beginning any fertilization. Fertilizer shall be delivered to the Contract Area only in the original unopened containers bearing the manufacturer’s guaranteed analysis. The Contractor shall not accept or utilize damaged packages. The Contractor shall furnish the City Technical Representative with duplicate signed, legible copies of all certificates and invoices for any and all fertilizer to be used in the course of this contract, which state the grade, amount, and quantity of fertilizer received. The City Technical Representative must approve and acknowledge by signature, all delivery receipts for fertilizer, on site, before use. Adequate irrigation shall immediately follow the application of fertilizers and/or amendments to force fertilizer material to rest directly on the soil surface. Drip irrigated areas shall be adequately hand watered using quick coupler valves and hoses to dissolve fertilizer.

Turf Fertilization. Pleasant Valley Fields Sports Complex primarily uses a liquid fertigation system to distribute fertilizer to the turf. Liquid fertilizer is applied to the turf daily. Application of formulas and rates shall correspond to climate, soil type and conditions, and cultural requirements of the turf species. Contractor must provide and deliver a pre-approved liquid fertilizer in advance to the site. The site is equipped with two (2), five hundred (500) gallon fertilizer tanks. Contractor shall maintain an adequate level of material in each tank at all times. The turf may require additional applications of fertilizers and/or additives accomplished using a rotary and/or drop spreader.
Turf Fertilization. Contractor shall provide all materials, equipment, and labor to implement and maintain a turf fertilization program. Contractor shall apply fertilizer as necessary to maintain green and healthy turf at all times. Contractor shall determine the schedule, application rates and appropriate percentages of nitrogen, potash and phosphoric acid to maintain green and healthy turf at all times. Contractor shall also apply a pre-emergent in the Spring and Fall to prevent all weeds in the turf, including but not limited to, crabgrass and poa annua. No ammonium nitrate of like fertilizers shall be used at any time. All fertilizer products landing on any hardscape surface shall be removed immediately. Contractor shall adjust irrigation schedules in accordance with manufacturer specification to achieve maximum benefits from application of fertilizers and weed control products. An annual turf fertilization plan shall be included in the Draft/Initial Schedule of Duties as required in Section 5.8. Contractor shall maintain detailed records of the turf fertilization program for inspection by City staff upon request, including all dates, locations, products used and application rates.
Turf Fertilization. Fertilization for all turf areas should be completed so as to provide one pound of actual nitrogen per 1,000 square feet. of lawn area, for each application specified:

  • Utilization Scale STATE shall scale logs or portions of logs that are broken, wasted, or not removed by PURCHASER due to: (1) improper felling or bucking of the logs; (2) failure to remove the logs prior to deterioration; and (3) logs remaining on the timber sale area after completion of logging, provided the logs were merchantable prior to breakage or wastage.   • Utilization Utilization shall be defined as Trunks Required as a percentage of Trunks In Service.

  • Underutilization Underutilization of Interconnection Trunks and facilities exists when provisioned capacity of trunks in service for more than six (6) months is greater than the current need. This over-provisioning is an inefficient deployment and use of network resources and results in unnecessary costs. Those situations where more capacity exists than actual usage will be handled in the following manner:

  • Utilization Management Contractor shall maintain a utilization management program that complies with applicable laws, rules and regulations, including Health and Safety Code § 1367.01 and other requirements established by the applicable State Regulators responsible for oversight of Contractor.

Channelization can be accomplished through the use of a multiplexer or a digital cross-connect system at the discretion of BellSouth. Once UC has been installed, NewPhone may request channel activation on a channelized facility and BellSouth shall connect the requested facilities via COCIs. The COCI must be compatible with the lower capacity facility and ordered with the lower capacity facility. This service is available as defined in NECA 4.

  • Public Outreach The Sponsor is responsible for development and administration of a public outreach effort to ensure public awareness and involvement in the Project development and delivery process. The Sponsor shall provide a copy of the public outreach plan and all materials documenting the public outreach activities, including public notices, press releases, flyers, etc. to the Authority. The public outreach plan must accompany the first invoice for payment from Sponsor. The materials documenting the public outreach activities must accompany the final invoice for payment from Sponsor.
