Union Solicitation. The Union agrees that there shall be no solicitation for membership in the Union nor shall other Union activity take place on the premises of the Employer in such a way that would disrupt any employee's work during the employee's working hours.
Union Solicitation. Except as otherwise provided in the Agreement, during their working hours Union members shall not engage in solicitation for membership in the Union, the collection of fees or dues for the Union, or carry on other business activities of the Union; provided that this provision shall not prohibit conversations concerning Union matters which do not interfere with the work and duties of any City employee.
Union Solicitation. The Union agrees there will be no solicitation of employees for Union membership on Company premises during working hours by the Union or its members, except as permitted by law.
Union Solicitation. The Union shall have the right to maintain and solicit membership or other internal Union business during non-work time.
Union Solicitation. While the City acknowledges that the Union may conduct solicitation of Geneva merchants, residents or citizens, the Union agrees that neither it nor its officers, agents or members will solicit any person or entity for contributions on behalf of the Geneva Fire Department of the City of Geneva. The Union agrees that the City name, shield or insignia, City or Department logo, communication systems, supplies and/or materials will not be used for solicitation purposes. Solicitation for the benefit of the Union by bargaining unit employees may not be done on work time or in a work uniform. Neither the Union nor its officers, agents or members may use the words "Geneva Fire Department" in its name or describe itself as the "City of Geneva." The Union shall have the right to explain to the public, if necessary, that they are members of an organization providing collective bargaining and other benefits to all firefighter and lieutenant rank officers employed by the City. The foregoing shall not be construed as a prohibition of lawful solicitation efforts by the Union or its members directed to the general public. Each party hereto agrees that they will comply with all applicable laws regarding solicitation. Prior to conducting any solicitation campaign directed at the City of Geneva's residents or businesses, the Union agrees to provide the City Administrator with fourteen (14) days advance written notice of the campaign, and how long the campaign will last.
Union Solicitation. Solicitation for Union purposes by the Union shall not take place on working time, in working areas, in public areas, nor in the tunnel complex (except in break areas contained there), but may be conducted in non-working areas and on non-working time in parking areas, break areas and lunch rooms.
Union Solicitation. The Union and the District agree that no solicitation for Union Membership or other Union business shall be conducted on the District's property or on District time without the consent of the District in writing.
Union Solicitation. 6 The Union agrees further that it will not solicit Union membership or carry on other Union activities in the Plant on Company time or carry on any such activities in such manner as to interfere with the efficient operation of the Plant.
