Vocational Training Subsidy. (a) All RMOs who confirm their acceptance and remain in a vocational training program will be entitled to the payment of a vocational training subsidy of $2500 per annum. This quantum will be increased by 2.5% on 1 July 2016 and by a further 2.5% on 1 July 2017. (b) The subsidy will be paid as a fortnightly allowance, with payment to commence from the first day of the pay period following the RMO providing satisfactory evidence of their acceptance as a vocational trainee with one of the specialty colleges. (c) Where a RMO ceases to participate in a vocational training program they will advise their employer in writing of their change in status within 7 days of ceasing to be a vocational trainee. All overpayments made as a result of non-compliance with this clause will be fully recoverable by the employer. (d) The subsidy is paid in recognition of the high cost of college membership, exam and course fees necessary to complete vocational training requirements in various specialty areas.

This allowance will remain linked to the wages increase and will increase annually as follows: increase by 2.5% on 1 July 2019 and further increase by 2.5% on 1 July 2020. (b) The subsidy will be paid as a fortnightly allowance, with payment to commence from the first day of the pay period following the date of the RMO’s acceptance onto the training program. The RMO is to provide satisfactory evidence of their acceptance as a vocational trainee with one of the specialty colleges. Backdating will not exceed a period of three months from the provision of evidence unless in exceptional circumstances. (c) Where a RMO ceases to participate in a vocational training program they will advise their employer in writing of their change in status within 7 days of ceasing to be a vocational trainee. All overpayments made as a result of non-compliance with this clause will be fully recoverable by the employer. (d) The subsidy is paid in recognition of the high cost of college membership, exam and course fees necessary to complete vocational training requirements in various specialty areas.
Vocational Training Subsidy. 6.2.1 All Medical Officers who confirm their acceptance and remain in a vocational training program will be entitled to the payment of a Vocational Training Subsidy of $3000 per annum. 6.2.2 Part time Medical Officers will receive a pro rata amount of the Vocational Training Subsidy. 6.2.3 The subsidy will be paid as a fortnightly allowance, which will be paid in the first pay period following the Medical Officer commencing the training program and provided that the Medical Officer makes formal application for the subsidy and supplies Mater with satisfactory evidence of their acceptance as a vocational trainee with one of the specialty colleges.

(c) Where a resident medical officer ceases to participate in a vocational training program they will advise their employer in writing of their change in status within 7 days of ceasing to be a vocational trainee. All overpayments made as a result of non-compliance with this clause will be fully recoverable by the Employer. (b) The subsidy will be paid as a fortnightly allowance, with payment to commence from the first day of the pay period following the Resident Medical Officer providing satisfactory evidence of their acceptance as a vocational trainee with one of the specialty colleges, but no sooner than 1 January 2006. (c) Where a Resident Medical Officer ceases to participate in a vocational training program they will advise their Employer in writing of their change in status within 7 days of ceasing to be a vocational trainee. All overpayments made as a result of non-compliance with this clause will be fully recoverable by the Employer. (d) The subsidy is paid in recognition of the high cost of college membership, exam and course fees necessary to complete vocational training requirements in various specialty areas.
Vocational Training Subsidy. 6.2.1. All Medical Officers who confirm their acceptance and remain in a vocational training program will be entitled to the payment of a Vocational Training Subsidy as follows: (a) $2000 from the date of Approval of this Agreement; (b) $2250 as at 1 July 2016; (c) $2500 as at 1 July 2017. 6.2.2. Part time Medical Officers will receive a pro rata amount of the VTS. 6.2.3. The subsidy will be paid as a fortnightly allowance, which will be paid in the first pay period following the Medical Officer commencing the training program and provided that the Medical Officer supplies Mater with satisfactory evidence of their acceptance as a vocational trainee with one of the specialty colleges. 6.2.4. Where a Medical Officer ceases to participate in a vocational training program they are required to advise Mater in writing of their change in status within seven (7) days of ceasing to be a vocational trainee. All overpayments made as a result of non-compliance with this clause will be fully recoverable by Mater in accordance with Mater Policy. 6.2.5. The subsidy is paid in recognition of the high cost of college membership, exam and course fees necessary to complete vocational training requirements in various specialty areas. 6.2.6. For the sake of clarity a Medical Officer is only eligible to claim either the Professional Development Support or the Vocational Training subsidy at any one point in time, not both.

  • First Aid Training In the interests of the occupational safety and health of employees, the Employer will undertake an in-service program of first aid training aimed at providing a first aid officer for each department.

  • Job Training ‌ The Employer and the Union shall establish a Joint Committee on Training and Skill Upgrading for the following purposes: (1) for planning training programs for those employees affected by technological change; (2) for planning training programs to enable employees to qualify for new positions being planned through future expansion or renovation; (3) for planning training programs for those employees affected by new methods of operation; (4) for planning training programs in the area of general skill upgrading. Whenever necessary, this Committee shall seek the assistance of external training resources such as the Federal Human Resources Development Canada and Provincial Ministry of Labour, or other recognized training institutions.

  • Technical Training The CAISO and the Participating TOs shall respond to reasonable requests for support and provide relevant technical training to each other’s employees to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the CAISO Controlled Grid and to comply with any NERC or WECC operator certification or training requirements. Examples of such technical training include, but are not limited to: (1) the theory or operation of new or modified equipment (e.g., control systems, Remedial Action Schemes, protective relays); (2) computer and applicator programs; and (3) CAISO (or Participating TO) requirements. The Parties shall enter into agreements regarding the timing, term, locations, and cost allocation for the training.

  • Staff Training 3.3.5.1 The CONTRACTOR shall provide regular and ongoing comprehensive training for CONTRACTOR staff to ensure that they understand the goals of Centennial Care 2.0, including the integration of physical, Long-Term Care and Behavioral Health, the provisions and limitations of the ABP and the requirements of this Agreement. Including targeted training regarding: 3.3.5.2.1 Care Coordination; 3.3.5.2.2 Nursing Facility Level of Care Determinations; 3.3.5.2.3 Setting of Care Submissions; 3.3.5.2.4 Community Benefit Services and Supplemental Questionnaire; and

  • Training Programs All employees shall successfully complete all necessary training prior to being assigned work (e.g., all employees will complete health and safety training prior to being assigned to task). Nothing in this Article or provision shall constitute a waiver of either party’s bargaining obligations or defenses. The Employer still has an obligation to notify and bargain changes in terms and conditions of employment with the exclusive representative.
