Watermains. Subdivider shall construct and install watermains and appurtenances including valves and valve xxxxxxxx and also service connections from such watermains to each lot line generally as proposed in the Servicing Plans and specifically as required by the Municipal Engineer. In connection with such water works, the following provisions apply:
Watermains. Watermains, including valves, valve boxes, hydrants etc. shall be installed in accordance with the Ministry of the Environment’s Design Guidelines for Drinking-Water Systems to which the Form 1 was subject and in the location indicated on Schedule “A-1” and shall be of such size as required by the Director as set out in Schedule ”D” hereto.
Watermains. 6.1. All watermains shall be installed in accordance with the engineering plans approved by the Director of Operations. The watermain system shall meet the design criteria of the Regional Municipality of Niagara and Ministry of Environment. All alterations, relocations or connections to the existing water system will be the responsibility of the Developer and shall be approved by the Director of Operations.
6.2. The Developer shall construct complete watermain system or systems and all necessary appurtenances, including hydrants, cathode protection and 19mm copper water service connections from the watermain to the lot line. The design shall be as approved by the Director of Operations and constructed in accordance with the approved specifications.
6.3. All watermains shall be a minimum 150 mm diameter or a sufficient size to service the subdivision and structures of this phase of development as well as future phases of development.
6.4. The Developer shall provide a metered 19 mm diameter copper water service to each lot.
6.5. The Developer shall submit supporting documentation to the Town Operations Department and Fire Department that the proposed water system design will deliver adequate water pressure and fire flows. If necessary, any water system improvements that must be undertaken to provide adequate water pressure and fire flows to this phase as well as future phases of development will be at the Developer’s expense.
6.6. All hydrants and water flow must meet NFPA standards and the Ontario Building Code.
6.7. Where hydrants have been installed but not yet functional or out of service they shall be clearly identified (bagged) as to be not in service.
6.8. The Town Fire Department will be required to approve the number and location of all proposed fire hydrants.
6.9. All hydrants shall be free of obstructions after being activated.
6.10. Hydrants ‘style’ shall comply with the requirements of the Town Operations Department.
Watermains. (a) The Owner shall connect to the existing watermain system for the purpose of servicing the Lands in accordance with the design, plans and specifications approved by the Director of Operations.
(b) Upon completion of the Primary Services and prior to connecting to the Town's existing watermain system, the Owner shall have all watermains swabbed, flushed, pressure tested, chlorinated and bacterial tested in accordance with Town requirements and approved by the Director of Operations.
(c) The Owner shall supply the Town with standard service cards showing the location of the water lines serving each dwelling to be erected upon the Lots.
(d) The Owner agrees to place a plastic or burlap bag over all hydrants that are not actively in service.
(e) The Owner agrees to mark each valve box with a 1.2 metre marker painted blue and shall ensure the same is kept clear of debris, fill, equipment or material.
(f) The Owner agrees that no Person or Persons, except the Director of Operations or those acting under the Director of Operations authority, shall open or close any valve, or hydrant in any street main connected into and served by the Town's water system or interfere with the source in any manner.
(g) The Owner agrees to address fire flows requirements and any deficiencies and to construct the necessary system improvements to provide adequate water pressure and fire flows to the proposed development to the satisfaction of the Director of Operations and Fire Department prior to any approvals.
Watermains. (a) The Owner shall connect to the existing watermain system for the purpose of servicing the Lands in accordance with the design, plans and specifications approved by the Director of Operations.
(b) Upon completion of the Primary Services, prior to any financial release and prior to connecting to the Town's existing watermain system, the Owner shall have all watermains swabbed, flushed, pressure tested, chlorinated and bacterial tested in accordance with Town and Fire Code requirements and approved by the Director of Operations.
(c) The Owner shall, prior to the issuance of the Preliminary Certificate of Completion of Primary Services, supply the Director of Operations with the Town’s standard service cards in full digital format of each water service constructed to serve the buildings which are to be to be erected on the Lands. In addition to all text fields shown on the service card template, the following information must be provided on each service card: • Location of service from lot corner; • Location of service from nearest fixed object; • Location of curb stop/shut-off valve; • Location of main from property line; • Depth of service at property line; • Size and material type of service; • Indicated north direction;
(d) The Owner agrees to place a plastic or burlap bag over all hydrants that are not actively in service.
(e) The Owner agrees to mark each valve box with a 1.2 metre marker painted blue and shall ensure the same is kept clear of debris, fill, equipment or material.
(f) The Owner agrees that no Person or Persons, except the Director of Operations or those acting under the Director of Operations authority, shall open or close any valve, or hydrant in any street main connected into and served by the Town's water system or interfere with the source in any manner.
(g) The Owner agrees to address fire flows requirements and any deficiencies and to construct the necessary system improvements to provide adequate water pressure and fire flows to the proposed development to the satisfaction of the Director of Operations and Fire Department prior to any approvals. Upon completion of primary services and before any financial releases, the fire hydrants must be pressure and flow tested as per Fire Code requirements.
(h) The Owner agrees that the watermain system be designed to the satisfaction of the Town’s Operations Department, and that the proposed watermain for Oakley Drive be oversized to a minimum size of 200mm, and that the owner pays their ...

The design and installation of all Public Utilities shall be at the sole cost of the Owner and shall be subject to the terms and conditions of the utility company or commission. The Owner agrees to to grant to Bell Canada any easements that may be required for telecommunication services. Easements may be required subject to final servicing decisions. In the event of any conflict with existing Bell Canada facilities or easements, the Owner shall be responsible for the relocation of such facilities or easements. Bell Canada requires one (1) or more conduit or conduits of sufficient size from each unit to the room(s) in which the telecommunication facilities are situated and one or more conduits from the room(s) in which the telecommunication facilities are located to the street line. Prior to commencing any Work on the Lands, the Owner must confirm that sufficient wire-line communication/telecommunication infrastructure is currently available within the proposed development to provide communication...
Watermains a) The Owner shall construct watermains, service laterals and appurtenances thereto in accordance with the City approval of water works under its licensing authority granted by the Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks and in accordance with the approved construction plan drawings and standards.
b) All materials used for this work are to be selected from the City’s Approved Manufacturers’ Product list for Water Distribution Systems.
c) The Developer shall construct water mains, service laterals and appurtenances in accordance to the Xxxx Sound Specifications for Water Main Construction document and the approved construction plan drawings and standards.
d) The Owner acknowledges and agrees that the proposed development must be serviced from the municipal water distribution system.
e) The Owner shall supply and install at his/her own expense the required water service laterals and appurtenances from the watermain to the property line within the Plan.
f) The Owner acknowledges and agrees that no connections to the municipal water system will be permitted prior to approval of the works by the City.

(d) The Owner shall supply the Town with standard service cards showing the location of the water lines serving each dwelling to be erected upon the Lots.
(e) The Owner agrees to place a plastic or burlap bag over all hydrants that are not actively in service.
(f) The Owner agrees to mark each valve box with a 1.2 metre marker painted blue and shall ensure the same is kept clear of debris, fill, equipment or material.

(i) The Owner agrees to install sampling stations to sample water from the Town’s watermains.

(d) The Owner shall supply the Town with standard service cards showing the location of the water lines serving each dwelling to be erected upon the Lots.
(e) The Owner agrees to place a plastic or burlap bag over all hydrants that are not actively in service.
(f) The Owner agrees to xxxx each valve box with a 1.2 metre marker painted blue and shall ensure the same is kept clear of debris, fill, equipment or material.
(g) The Owner agrees that no Person or Persons, except the Director of Operations or those acting under the Director of Operations authority, shall open or close any valve, or hydrant in any street main connected into and served by the Towns water system or interfere with the source in any manner.
Watermains. 77. A complete system of watermains and appurtenances shall be installed by the Owner to Service the lands included in the Plan as shown on the Construction Drawings as listed in Schedule B.
78. Upon completion of the watermain construction, the mains shall be tested in accordance with the City’s specifications under the direction of the Consulting Engineer.
79. The use of water, watermains, valves, water services and hydrants and all appurtenances shall be subject to the Water By-Law, as may be amended from time to time.
