COORDINATION WITH OTHER CONTRACTORS. Contractor expressly acknowledges and agrees that other contractors may be performing work on other projects at the Site, while the Work is taking place, in which event Contractor shall fully cooperate with District and other contractors while performing the Work, at no additional cost to District.

COORDINATION WITH OTHER CONTRACTORS. 12.1 During the progress of the Work, Other Contractors may be engaged in performing other work or may be awarded other contracts for additional work on this Project. In that event, the Contractor shall coordinate the Work to be done hereunder with the work of such Other Contractors and the Contractor shall fully cooperate with such Other Contractors and carefully fit its own Work to that provided under other contracts as may be directed by the Engineer. The Contractor shall not commit or permit any act which will interfere with the performance of work by any Other Contractors.

COORDINATION WITH OTHER CONTRACTORS. During the progress of the Work on this Contract, other Contractors may be engaged in performing work within the Contract area and in areas adjacent to this Contract area. The Contractor’s attention is specifically directed to the fact that because of the work on other contracts within and adjacent to the limits of this Contract, it may not have exclusive occupancy of the territory within or adjacent to the limits of this Contract. The Contractor will be required to cooperate with other Prime Contractors and the owners of the various utilities and to coordinate and arrange the sequence of its work in such a manner that all work, proposed or in progress within or adjacent to the limits of the Contract, can be progressed with as little interference as possible. In case of interference between the operations of a Contractor and/or utility owners and/or other Contractors, RIOC/LiRo shall be the sole judge of the rights of each party and of the sequence for work necessary to expedite the completion of all the Work progressed or about to be progressed within or adjacent to the Contract limits. The direction of RIOC/LiRo on the order and sequence of the Work shall not constitute a basis for extra compensation or an Extension of Time Meetings General: Meetings shall be held as scheduled by RIOC/LiRo in its office, at which time the Contractor shall have its representatives present to discuss all details relative to the execution of the Work.

COORDINATION WITH OTHER CONTRACTORS. ‌ Contractor shall coordinate the Work to be performed hereunder with the work of other contractors performing work for the Project in such manner as Construction Manager shall direct. Contractor shall indemnify and hold BPCA, Construction Manager, and Architect harmless from any and all claims or judgments for damages, costs and expenses to which BPCA, Construction Manager or Architect may be subjected or which they may suffer or incur by reason of Contractor’s failure to promptly comply with Construction Manager’s directions. If Contractor notifies Construction Manager in writing that another contractor is failing to coordinate its work with the Work to be performed hereunder, Construction Manager shall promptly investigate the charge. If Construction Manager finds that charge to be true, it shall promptly issue such direction to the other contractor with respect thereto as the situation may require. BPCA, Construction Manager and Architect shall not, however, be liable for any damages suffered by Contractor by reason of the other contractor’s failure to promptly comply with the directions so issued by Construction Manager or by reason of another contractor’s default in performance. Should Contractor sustain any damage through any act or omission of any other contractor, Contractor shall have no claim against BPCA, Construction Manager or Architect for such damage but shall have a right to recover such damage from the other contractor, under a provision similar to a provision contained in the following sentence which is part of this Agreement and which has been or will be inserted in the contracts with the other contractors engaged in the Project. Should any other contractor having or who shall hereafter have a contract with BPCA for the performance of work upon the Project sustain any damage through any act or omission of Contractor hereunder, Contractor shall reimburse such other contractor for all such damages and to indemnify and hold BPCA, Construction Manager and Architect harmless from all such claims. Any claim against a performance bond surety made by any contractor shall be subordinated to any claim of BPCA then existing or that may arise in the future against such other contractor or its performance bond surety.
