Right to Refuse Work. Consistent with M.S. 182.654, Subd. 11, employees have the right to refuse work in certain circumstances as specified in the statute.

Right to Refuse Work. All employees covered by this Agreement shall have the right to refuse to do the work of striking or locked out employees of the Employer or any other Employer.
Right to Refuse Work. (a) If an employee believes, in good faith, that the performance of specific work assigned would endanger their health and/or safety, then they may refuse to perform such work assigned.
Right to Refuse Work. Every employee has the right to refuse work in accordance with applicable legislation. Any such refusal will be done in accordance with OH & S procedures which will be published for the information of employees.
Right to Refuse Work. No employee may be discharged, suspended, disciplined, or otherwise penalized for refusing to perform unsafe work or operate any equipment. Employees must first report the condition to their supervisor who shall immediately investigate the matter and resolve the issue. Should the issue remain unresolved an investigation will occur involving a member of the Union health and safety committee. Should the matter remain unresolved an occupational health and safety officer shall be notified who will take the appropriate action. No member shall be required to perform the work or operate any equipment during the period of refusal. There shall be no loss of earnings or benefits during the period of refusal.

Right to Refuse Work. An employee shall have the right to to work in dangerous situations as provided in the Act. An employee may refuse to do any particular act or series of acts at work which he has reasonable grounds to believe are dangerous to the health or safety of any other person at the place of employment until sufficientsteps have been taken to satisfy him otherwise, or until the Officer has investigated the matter and advised him otherwise. No loss of wages or disciplinary action shall be taken against any worker by reason of the fact that he exercised the right conferred upon him in above. No other employee shall be assigned to use or operate any machine, device, material or thing or perform any part of the work which is being investigated pending resolution of the situation.
