Acceptable conduct. The expectation of acceptable conduct applies to the on-campus conduct of all residents and residence student organizations. The expectation of acceptable conduct also applies to off-campus conduct of residents and residence student organizations in direct connection with:
1. Field trips, floor trips, committee organized events and University of Waterloo or residence coordinated volunteer work.
2. Any residence activity sponsored, conducted or authorized by the University of Waterloo, their respective residence administration and/or student organizations.
3. Any activity that causes (or was likely to cause) destruction of property belonging to the University of Waterloo, or causes (or was likely to cause) harm to the health and safety of members of the University of Waterloo community. Any activity that brings the University of Waterloo, or the residence operations into disrepute.
Acceptable conduct. 4.1 You are explicitly prohibited from posting or transmitting to or from the Web Service and/ or Device Client any material:
(a) that is threatening, defamatory, obscene, indecent, seditious, offensive, pornographic, abusive, liable to incite gender, sexual orientation, racial or political hatred, discriminatory, menacing, scandalous, inflammatory, blasphemous, in breach of confidence, in breach of privacy or which may cause annoyance or inconvenience; or
(b) for which you have not obtained all necessary licences, consents and/or approvals; or
(c) which constitutes or encourages conduct that would be considered a criminal offence, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise be contrary to the law of or infringe the rights of any third party, in any country in the world; or
(d) which is technically harmful (including, without limitation, computer viruses, logic bombs, Trojan horses, worms, harmful components, corrupted data or other malicious software or harmful data).
4.2 You may not use the Web Service and/ or Device Client :
(a) in any way that breaches any applicable local, national or international law or regulation;
(b) in any way that is unlawful or fraudulent, or has any unlawful or fraudulent purpose or effect;
(c) for the purpose of harming or attempting to harm minors in any way; or
(d) to transmit, or procure the sending of, any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material or any other form of similar solicitation (spam).
4.3 ResourceTrack (UK) Ltd shall fully co-operate with any law enforcement authorities or court order
Acceptable conduct. Usage of issued equipment used solely for educational and leaning purpose at school or home.
Acceptable conduct. You agree that you are responsible for maintain your own account. You understand that all information, data, text, software, music, sound, photographs, graphics, video, messages, files, attachments or other materials (“Content”) are the sole responsibility of the account from which such Content originated. Xxxxx Technologies, LLC reserves the right, but does not assume the responsibility to monitor or review any Content on Xxxxx Technologies, LLC services. You agree that you are responsible for the conduct of all users of your account and any Content that is created, transmitted, stored, or displayed by, from or within your account while using Xxxxx Technologies, LLC services and for any consequences thereof. You agree to use Xxxxx Technologies, LLC services only for purposes that are legal, proper and in accordance with the Terms of Services and any applicable policies or guidelines. You agree that you will not engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts Xxxxx Technologies, LLC services or servers or networks connected to Xxxxx Technologies, LLC services.
Acceptable conduct. The conduct of Greek members reflects on the individual, their chapters, and the Greek system as a whole. Acting responsibly requires a commitment from each Greek organization and each member of a chapter.
A. To ensure that Greeks conduct themselves in a manner that is beneficial to themselves, Northern Michigan University, and the surrounding community, they will be expected to:
1) abide by all national, state, and local laws and regulations.
2) abide by the regulations contained in the Northern Michigan University Student Code and the Northern Michigan University Ordinances.
3) abide by the guidelines and regulations of the National Interfraternity Conference (fraternities), and the National Panhellenic Conference (sororities), the Greek governing council/s, and the terms and conditions of this statement.
4) absolutely refrain from hazing. (Hazing is defined in section 2.3.17 in the Student Code.)
B. Individual members of Greek organizations who are in violation of any University statutes, rules, or regulations will be subject to the process and penalties outlined in the Student Code.
C. Greek organizations whose members are in violation of University statutes, rules, or regulations or who fail to abide by the guidelines and regulations of the National Interfraternity Conference (fraternities), the National Panhellenic Conference (sororities), the FIPG policy, or the terms and conditions of the Greek Invitational Agreement, regardless of whether the individuals are identified, will be subject to the process and penalties of their respective judicial processes.
D. Greek organizations whose members are in violation of University rules or regulations may be subjected to one or more penalties implemented by the Xxxx of Students. Penalties include but are not restricted to:
1) Probation. Probation is a period during which additional incidents of unacceptable behavior are given more severe penalties than they would otherwise.
Acceptable conduct. I understand that each country has its own laws and standards of acceptable conduct, including (but not limited to) dress, manners, morals, politics, drug use and behavior. I recognize that behavior violating those laws or standards could harm the University's relationship with those countries and the institutions therein, as well as my own health and safety. I will become informed of, and will abide by, all such laws and standards for each country to or through which I will travel during the Program, either as part of the Program or independently.
Acceptable conduct. You are responsible for the actions of all users of your account and any data that is created, stored, displayed by, or transmitted by your account while using Xxxxxxxx-xxxxxx.xxx. You will not engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts Xxxxxxxx-xxxxxx.xxx's services or networks connected to Campaign- xxxxxx.xxx.
Acceptable conduct. Customer’s use of the Service is subject to all applicable laws and regulations.
a. Customer shall be solely responsible for the contents of its communications through the Service. Customer may not upload, share, post, or otherwise distribute or facilitate distribution of any content — including text, communications, software, images, sounds, data, or other information — that:
i. Is unlawful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, libelous, deceptive, fraudulent, invasive of another's privacy, tortious, contains explicit or graphic descriptions or accounts of sexual acts (including but not limited to sexual language of a violent or threatening nature directed at another individual or group of individuals), or otherwise violates our rules or policies;
ii. Victimizes, harasses, degrades, or intimidates an individual or group of individuals on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability or other protected classification;
iii. Infringes on any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, right of publicity, or other proprietary right of any party;
iv. Constitutes unauthorized or unsolicited advertising, junk or bulk email (also known as “spamming”), chain letters, any other form of unauthorized solicitation, or any form of lottery or gambling;
v. Contains software viruses or any other computer code, files, or programs that are designed or intended to disrupt, damage, or limit the functioning of any software, hardware, or telecommunications equipment or to damage or obtain unauthorized access to any data or other information of any third party; or
vi. Impersonates any person or entity, including any of our employees or representatives.
b. Customer shall immediately discontinue all communications with any user if requested to do so by the user or by AVEVA.
c. AVEVA does not endorse nor assume any liability for the contents of any material uploaded or submitted by third party users of the Service. AVEVA generally does not pre-screen, monitor, or edit the content posted by users of communications features, chat rooms, message boards, newsgroups, software libraries, or other interactive services that may be available on or through the Service. However, AVEVA has the right at its sole discretion to remove any content that does not comply with these Terms of Use and any other rules of user conduct for our site, or is otherwise harmful, objectionable, or inaccurate, or for any other reason. Acceptable conduct. Company and Company’s officers, directors, employees and agents are expected to behave responsibly and to treat each other - and treat the community - with respect, kindness, and compassion. HIMSS reserves the right, without refund, to revoke the credentials of any participants whose conduct is deemed inappropriate, disorderly, or offensive by HIMSS, Venue, or local or federal authorities.
