Additional Personal Days. (2021) On July 1, 2021, all full-time employees hired on or before March 1, 2020 shall receive eight (8) additional personal leave hours. On July 1, 2022, all full-time employees hired on or before July 1, 2021 shall receive eight (8) additional personal leave hours. Part-time employees shall receive Personal Leave on a prorated basis proportional to their scheduled work hours. These personal days shall not carry over beyond the fiscal year in which they were earned.

Additional Personal Days. Upon exhaustion of the three personal leave days, additional personal days may be granted each school year at the discretion of the Superintendent, provided specific reasons are stated in the application for each day.
Additional Personal Days. There may be special circumstances where an employee desires to use more than two days of personal leave in a year. The employee may make a request to the Superintendent of Schools to approve a request for additional paid personal leave. The Superintendent of Schools has sole discretion to approve said request.
Additional Personal Days. In accordance with the Village’s Sick Leave Policy employees earn and accumulate sick time at the rate of eight (8) hours (one day a month) up to a maximum of 240 days (1,920 hours). Employees who do not use any sick time for one (1) year will be eligible to receive two (2) additional personal days (16 hours) to be used in the next year. A year is calculated from the employee’s date of hire and after the completion of the employee’s first year a year is calculated on all subsequent anniversary dates.
