Adjustment of Seniority Sample Clauses

Adjustment of Seniority. Seniority shall continue to accumulate during periods of paid leave of absence or, in the case of an "on-the-job" injury, during the period an employee receives Workers' Compensation benefits, but in no event more than two (2) years. The seniority of an employee who is on leave of absence without pay shall accumulate only for the first fifteen (15) days of such leave. Seniority shall not accumulate thereafter until the date on which the employee returns to full-time employment in the Bargaining Unit following such leave.

Adjustment of Seniority. When an employee who is on leave of absence accepts other gainful employment without prior approval of the Union, that employee’s seniority date may be adjusted by the Union. Members of the bargaining unit who accept temporary positions in another bargaining unit on campus will maintain their seniority but will not accumulate it.
Adjustment of Seniority. An employee who takes and unpaid leave of absence shall not accrue seniority during such absence. If an employee takes an unpaid leave of absence, his/her seniority dates shall be adjusted forward as of the date of hire, plus the number of days he is on unpaid leave of absence.
