Administration of Employment Terms and Conditions. The Union and the City agree to the following principles regarding internal and external candidates who are placed on terms and conditions (outside of the opportunity concept) in order to meet the job qualifications for the position they have been selected to fill: 15.02.01 All terms and conditions arrangements (per the attached templates) must be agreed to by the Union, the City and the employee. Requests will be reviewed and agreed upon with the Union prior to the employee signing off their agreement. 15.02.02 Terms and conditions will normally be based on the qualifications, skills and experience requirements outlined in the Class Specification and the Position Description. It is acknowledged by both parties that a wide spectrum of terms and conditions scenarios may be established; however the general expectation is that they will normally involve educational requirements that relate closely to the requirements of the job (i.e. completion of certifications, credentials or course work that is listed in the position description). 15.02.03 Employees will normally be expected to complete their terms and conditions within a two (2) year period. Any amendment to the duration will be agreed to by the Union, the City and the employee.

  • Terms and Conditions of Employment The term “terms and conditions of employment” means the hours of employment, the compensation therefore including fringe benefits except retirement contributions or benefits, and the Board of Education’s personnel policies affecting the working conditions of the employees. The term is subject to the provisions of Section 179A of PELRA, as amended, regarding the rights of public employers and the scope of negotiations.

  • Other Terms and Conditions of Employment Where an assessment has been made, the applicable percentage shall apply to the wage rate only. All contracts are issued contingent upon employee having appropriate certification or endorsement or approved ALP. All contracts are also contingent upon successful completion of criminal background check. Where applicable, certified salaries include $3000 from the “Targeted Educator Compensation Act” of 2001. Where applicable the employee has also had included within Compensation For Services a stipend for 18 years of Local Longevity Credit.

  • Duration of Employment 5.1 A seafarer shall be engaged for the period specified in Appendix 1 to this Agreement and such period may be extended or reduced by the amount shown in Appendix 1 for operational convenience. The employment shall be automatically terminated upon the terms of this Agreement at the first arrival of the ship in port after expiration of that period, unless the Company operates a permanent employment system.

  • DUTIES OF EMPLOYMENT Faculty Member agrees to perform the teaching, service, and research duties and responsibilities set forth in the written statement attached to this Agreement as Appendix “A” and incorporated herein by reference. Faculty Member and UNMC agree that Appendix A shall be periodically reviewed and revised as appropriate in accordance with Sections 3.4.4, 4.1, 4.2, and 4.3 of the Bylaws.
