ADULT APPRENTICE RATES OF PAY. 5.4.1 Where a person was employed by an employer under this award immediately prior to entering into a Contract of Training or Training Agreement as an adult apprentice with that employer, such person shall not suffer a reduction in the rate of pay by virtue of entering into a Contract of Training or Training Agreement.
5.4.2 For the purpose only of fixing a rate of pay the adult apprentice shall continue to receive the rate of pay that applies to the classification or class of work specified in clause 5.1 in which the adult apprentice was engaged immediately prior to entering into the contract of indenture.

ADULT APPRENTICE RATES OF PAY. 5.4.1 Where a person was employed by an employer under this Agreement immediately prior to entering into a Contract of Training or Training Agreement as an adult apprentice with that employer, such person shall not suffer a reduction in the rate of pay by virtue of entering into a Contract of Training or Training Agreement.
5.4.2 For the purpose only of fixing a rate of pay the adult apprentice shall continue to receive the rate of pay that applies to the classification or class of work specified in clause 5.1 in which the adult apprentice was engaged immediately prior to entering into the contract of indenture.
5.4.3 Subject to clauses 5.4.1 and 5.4.2, the minimum rate of pay of an adult apprentice shall be as set out in Column 4 of the table in clause 5.3.1(a).
5.4.4 The rates appearing in the table in 5.4.3 are payable from the date specified therein. Any increase in wage rates resulting from these adjustments may be offset to the extent of any existing payment over the rate specified in this Agreement.

4.2 For the purpose only of fixing a rate of pay the adult apprentice shall continue to receive the rate of pay that applies to the classification or class of work specified in clause 4.1 in which the adult apprentice was engaged immediately prior to entering into the contract of indenture.
4.3 Unless clauses 4.1 and 4.2 apply, the minimum rate of pay of an adult apprentice is set out in Column 2 of the table in clause 3.2.

ADULT APPRENTICE RATES OF PAY. 4.1 Where a person was employed by the employer immediately prior to entering into a Contract of Training or Training Agreement as an adult apprentice with that employer, such person shall not suffer a reduction in the rate of pay by virtue of entering into a Contract of Training or Training Agreement.
4.2 For the purpose only of fixing a rate of pay the adult apprentice shall continue to receive the rate of pay that applies to the classification or class of work specified in clause 4.1 in which the adult apprentice was engaged immediately prior to entering into the contract of indenture.
ADULT APPRENTICE RATES OF PAY. An Adult Apprentice is a person of 21 years of age or over at the time of entering into a contract of training in a specified trade. First Year of Apprenticeship 80% Second Year of Apprenticeship 85% Third Year of Apprenticeship 90% Fourth Year of Apprenticeship 95% Apprentices will have an entitlement to the following Allowances and contributions: Productivity Allowance: The Employer will pay Fifty Percent (50%) Productivity Allowance prescribed at clause 5.4 for the first year of the apprenticeship. The Employer will pay one hundred Percent (100%) Productivity Allowance for the second and subsequent years of the employee's apprenticeship.
ADULT APPRENTICE RATES OF PAY. Adult apprentices, upon entry into an approved apprenticeship scheme, retain the rate that they were receiving immediately prior to becoming an apprentice. They receive annual wage rises until their rate reaches that of C10 level, where it remains at that level, or the apprenticeship is completed, whichever occurs first.
ADULT APPRENTICE RATES OF PAY. 5.3.1 Where a person was employed by the company under this agreement immediately prior to becoming an adult apprentice with that company, such person shall not suffer a reduction in the rate of pay by virtue of becoming indentured.
5.3.2 For the purpose only of fixing a rate of pay the adult apprentice shall continue to receive the rate of pay that is from time to time applicable to the classification or class of work specified in clause 5.1.1 and in which the adult apprentice was engaged immediately prior to entering into the contract of indenture.
5.3.3 Subject to 5.3.1 and 5.3.2 the minimum rate payable to an adult apprentice shall for the period of the apprenticeship be the rate specified in Wage Group 1 - Aerospace Worker I of clause 5.1.1(c) of this agreement or the rate provided for in clause 5.2.1 of this agreement for the relevant year of apprenticeship whichever is the greater.
ADULT APPRENTICE RATES OF PAY. 45.1 Adult apprentice means a person of 21 years of age or over at the time of entering into a contract of training as provided for in clause 43.
45.2 Where a person was employed by LACTALIS Australia Ltd immediately prior to becoming an adult apprentice in accordance with this Agreement, such person will not suffer a reduction in the rate of pay by virtue of signing a contract of training. The rate of pay will not be reduced and will be paid in accordance with clause 44.1.
45.3 For the purpose of fixing a rate of pay, the adult apprentice will continue to receive the rate of pay that is from time to time applicable to the classification in which the adult apprentice was engaged immediately prior to entering into the contract of training.
45.4 Subject to 45.2 the rate of pay of an adult apprentice will be the minimum wage prescribed by the Fair Work Commission or the rate prescribed by clause 18 for the relevant year of apprenticeship whichever is the greater.
45.5 Where a person was employed by LACTALIS Australia Ltd immediately prior to becoming an adult apprentice, and they work overtime on site outside of maintenance/engineering, will receive the full hourly rate applicable to the role performing, not the apprentice rate. eg. If an apprentice works overtime as a pasteuriser operator they will be paid the pasteuriser operator rate for the period of overtime worked.
ADULT APPRENTICE RATES OF PAY. 4.2.1 Where a person was employed by the employer immediately prior to entering into a Contract of Training or Training Agreement as an adult apprentice with that employer, such person shall not suffer a reduction in the rate of pay by virtue of entering into a Contract of Training or Training Agreement.
4.2.2 For the purpose only of fixing a rate of pay the adult apprentice shall continue to receive the rate of pay that applies to the classification or class of work specified in Clause 8 of the Enterprise Bargaining Agreement in which the adult apprentice was engaged immediately prior to entering into the Contract of Indenture.
