ASSIGNMENT PREFERENCES. Although UCF DHRL attempts to accommodate all residence applicants, there are usually more applicants than available residence hall and apartment spaces. UCF DHRL in no way guarantees that housing accommodations will be available either when applied for, or in the future. As a general guideline, UCF DHRL observes the following preferences to one degree or another: A. UCF DHRL attempts to provide on-campus housing to first-year student/freshmen; B. For those who have attended UCF for more than one semester, preference in providing housing is given to residents already residing in housing; C. Residents and applicants with special needs are generally given preference for rooms that can accommodate residents with special needs. D. Assignments and determination of preferences are made upon room availability as determined from time to time on an on-going basis; therefore, the Student should complete and submit housing applications as soon as possible to maximize both the likelihood of a space being available and/or a preference being granted.

Residents and applicants with special needs are generally given preference for rooms that can accommodate residents with special needs. X. Xxxxxxxx students applying for residency at UnionWest at Creative Village will be given a limited preference for a percentage of total bed spaces designated for Valencia students. Valencia students applying for housing at UnionWest at Creative Village (like all students applying for housing with UCF DHRL) are encouraged to submit and complete applications as early as possible, to increase the probability of getting a residence bed space applied for, and to minimize risk of bed spaces not being available for assignment. E. Assignments and determination of preferences are made upon room availability as determined from time to time on an on-going basis; therefore, the Student should complete and submit housing applications as soon as possible to maximize both the likelihood of a space being available and/or a preference being granted.

ASSIGNMENT PREFERENCES. Each faculty member shall state his or her preferences including desired courses, delivery method (classroom or electronically mediated instruction), and preferred time frame(s) (days of the week, morning, afternoon, evening, weekends, etc.). The assignment preferences submitted by the faculty member shall not be construed as a guarantee of a particular assignment(s) nor as the only assignment(s) or time frame(s) that may be offered, but this information shall be considered in developing the quarterly schedule. In accordance with division/department practice, part-time faculty members without reemployment preference may be asked to submit an Assignment Request and Preferences. In such cases, the provisions of this section shall apply.

ASSIGNMENT PREFERENCES. Assignment change is defined as a movement within a school between subject area or grade level or site assignment. In developing tentative assignments, administrators shall: a. Request and consider unit member assignment preferences for the ensuing school year; b. Consider frequency and span/variance of assignment changes; c. Prior to making any decision regarding a change in assignment or declining a request of unit member preferences, the immediate administrator or their designee will discuss the proposed assignment with the unit member. d. The administration will provide each unit member with a written statement of their tentative assignment at least 15 duty days prior to the unit member’s last scheduled pupil day. e. If the unit member objects to the proposed change, the unit member may request and receive a written statement of the assignment, noting reasons for the assignment change, if applicable, grade level/subject, location, and effective date. f. It is understood that unforeseen conditions impacting the instructional program may affect the assignment change.

Co-Terminal. A trip or standby assignment at one or more co-terminals (at applicable bases) in order of priority.
ASSIGNMENT PREFERENCES. 43.3.1 City will assign employees to police services or fire services using "duty preference statements" in order of seniority whenever practicable, keeping in mind balance of experience and training. Police services includes assignments in patrol, traffic, detectives, crime prevention, and police training. Fire services includes assignments in fire field operations, fire prevention, and fire training. 43.3.2 After a total of fifteen (15) years of service as Public Safety Officers and/or Public Safety Lieutenants with the Department of Public Safety, an employee may select police services or fire services. 43.3.3 Such selection may occur for up to three (3) consecutive years, at which time the City may assign such employee to either a police field operations or fire field operations assignment for up to one (1) year. 43.3.4 Thereafter, the employee selection and City assignment shall continue on the same "three year-one year" basis.

When and if new assignments become available, then, the Company will award such assignments on the basis of employee plant wide seniority as indicated by the preference lists. In the event that new work is introduced to the plant in the Production classification, then, the Company will permit employees to submit a new preference list. A copy of such employee preference list will be provided to the Chairperson of the Plant Committee.
