Assignment Changes. A. Assignments shall not be changed without prior consultation with the MBU; however, if the assignment must be changed before the MBU reports to work the following year, and every reasonable effort has been made to consult without success, the MBU will then be notified in writing. B. For Non-Exceptional Education MBUs assigned to more than one site, the addition, deletion, or exchange of less than 65 percent of site working time shall be an assignment change and not a transfer if it occurs prior to September 14 of each year. The addition, deletion or exchange of 65 percent or more of site working time shall be a transfer. Any change of site working time after September 14 of each year shall be a transfer. C. For Exceptional Education MBUs, any change in site working time before November 8 shall be considered an assignment change. In the event of an assignment change of an Exceptional Education MBU, the Exceptional Education MBU shall be provided two (2) working days “relieved of regular duties” to complete the assignment change.

Assignment Changes. An employee desiring to work additional days must submit a change of assignment form. Change of assignment forms must be submitted to the Operations Department no later than July 1 each year and will remain on file for up to twelve (12) months. A change in the number of days worked in the same building shall not be considered a transfer.
Assignment Changes a. Rooms will be occupied only upon assignment by the Office of Residence Life. b. Submission of a room change request does not guarantee approval. If the room change is approved and housing rates vary between rooms, students will be responsible for paying the higher housing rate for the remainder of the semester. If the rate is lower, the student will receive a reimbursement for the difference. c. Students who change rooms without residence life approval are subject to a $75.00 improper move fee. d. The Office of Residence Life will not approve any room changes until after the 12th class day of the semester. Room changes are not allowed at any time unless they are approved by the Office of Residence Life. a. Students will be given an opportunity to change rooms for two weeks after the 12th class day without penalty. After the room swap period, there will be a $25 administrative fee assessed each time a student swaps rooms at their request. e. All students must receive authorization from the Office of Residence Life to cease to reside in their assigned room or to move from the residence halls or apartments. f. The Office of Residence Life reserves the right to levy an administrative charge for unauthorized moves and failure to follow proper check-in and check-out procedures. g. Students must check in on the assigned date unless they have been granted permission to arrive on an alternative check in date by the Office of Residence Life. All requests for early check-in are subject to a daily early arrival fee. h. Any exchanges, transfers, or cancellations of rooms must be approved by the Office of Residence Life.
Assignment Changes. The University reserves the right to change room assignments, to assign a new Licensee or reassign a current Licensee to any unoccupied bed space at any time for reasons of healthy, student welfare, discipline, administrative necessity or as a result of a administrative action. Unauthorized use or room changes at any time during the contract term are prohibited and considered a serious material breach of license
Assignment Changes. Residents may request a reassignment to another room within their building or to another community on campus. Residents must meet with their Community Director in order to submit a reassignment request. After fall semester opening in August, changes will be considered two weeks after classes begin and only as space is available.

Licensee's billing statements will be adjusted to reflect any changes in accommodations. Failure to follow the guidelines for changing room assignments may result in additional administration charges.
