PLANT COMMITTEE. 5.01 a) The Company acknowledges the right of the Union to appoint or otherwise select a Plant Committee otherwise known as the Union Grievance Committee, which shall be composed of not more than four (4)
PLANT COMMITTEE. Article VI I The Company acknowledges the right of the Union to appoint or otherwise select a Plant Committee which shall administer the Agreement on behalf of the Union and shall negotiate any amendments or new Agreements. The Company shall and bargain with the said Committee on any matter properly arising during the continuance of the Agreement. The Plant Committee shall be composed of five members elected from time to time. The Union agrees to supply the Company with the names of the Chairman and Members constituting the panel of the Plant Committee and the shop stewards and will keep such a list up to date at all times. More than one shop xxxxxxx will be for each zone if it seems advisable to include day and night shift shop stewards from the same zone to consider grievances, the outcome of which might affect both shifts. Time off for Union representatives would be as follows: Full time Chairman paid by the Company and a total of sixty hours per week for Plant Committee as long as there are five hundred Lodge employees and will drop by seven hours for every fifty less employees working. If shop stewards are called to the Union office by the Union Executive, their time shall be counted. The Chairman of the Union Bargaining Committee shall be known as a full time Plant Chairman. He shall be on a full time basis for the purpose of administering the Agreement in cooperation with the regular stewards and the committeemen. The Plant Chairman shall be allowed access to and from the factory in the performance of his duties, and shall report to the xxxxxxx of any department it is found necessary to visit, state the reasons for doing so and secure verbal permission before entering. Permission requested under this article shall not be unreasonably refused. The Plant Chairman will normally occupy the Union office with facilities, including desk, chair, telephone and filing cabinet. The Plant Chairman will be supplied with written information concerning starts, surpluses, lay-offs, discharges, recalls, job classifications and forms involving transfer of employees. The Chairman of the Union Committee or, because of his unavailability another designated representative from the Plant Committee shall substitute for the Plant Chairman should the need arise. The Plant Chairman or his/her designates time will be charged to the Human Resources Department and shall receive the rate of pay equal to the highest rate of pay in the bargaining unit and will be paid the equivalen...
PLANT COMMITTEE. 6.01 (a) The Company acknowledges the right of the Union to appoint or otherwise select a plant committee, otherwise known as the Local Union Executive, which shall be composed of not more than six employees. Each member of this committee, and all stewards, shall have reached the age of majority, shall have at least three months' seniority with the Company, and shall be regular employees of the Company during their time of office.
PLANT COMMITTEE. The Company acknowledges the right of the Union to appoint or otherwise select up to four (4) stewards and one (1) plant chairperson who shall at least have one years seniority with the Company during their time in office. The name of the stewards from time to time selected shall be given to the Company in writing and the Company shall not be required to recognize any such stewards until it has so been notified.
PLANT COMMITTEE. 11.01 A meeting of the Union committee and representatives of the management may be called by notice given in writing by either party forty-eight (48) hours prior to time of meeting. The party calling the meeting must advise in writing, included with notice calling the meeting, what matters are to be discussed. Anything further than business for which the meeting is called by be handled only by mutual consent.
PLANT COMMITTEE. 4.01 The Company acknowledges the right of the Union to appoint or otherwise select a plant committee which shall be composed of not more two (2) stewards on all shifts of Plant 1 and Plant 2 and one (1)
PLANT COMMITTEE. 5.01 (i) The Company acknowledges the right of the Union to appoint or otherwise select from employees in the bargaining unit having seniority, a Plant Committee comprised of not more than four (4) members, one of whom shall be the Plant Chairperson. The other three Committee persons shall be designated Zone Committee-persons and shall be selected from the employees in, and shall represent the employees in, their designated zones. PLANT COMMITTEE. 21.1 The Company shall recognize the Union Plant Committee consisting of five (5) employees, one of whom shall be Chairperson and one of whom shall be from the Skilled Trades group. During a two shift operation, alternate Committeepersons can be appointed and will be recognized by the Company provided a list naming the alternates is given to the Company prior to being effective. PLANT COMMITTEE. 5.01 The Company acknowledges the right of the Union to establish a Plant Committee consisting of a Chairperson, one representative for every twenty-five (25) employees per shift (days and nights), and three (3) Skilled Trades Representatives, who have served their probationary period. The Company also agrees to recognize one (1) additional floating representative. The Company also acknowledges the right of the Union to establish a Bargaining Committee consisting of not more than four (4) persons, consisting of the Chairperson, a Skilled Trades Representative and two (2) employees from production who have served their probationary period, plus the President of C.A.W. Local 4207 and a Representative from the C.A.W. – Canada.
PLANT COMMITTEE. 4:01 (a) The Company acknowledges the right of the Union to appoint or otherwise select from the plant union membership, a Plant Committee composed of not more than three (3) stewards and three (3) alternate stewards, one (1) to be assigned to each active shift. The committee shall meet monthly to maintain a harmonious relationship between management and labour. The committee shall be paid at their straight time hourly rate for attendance at scheduled meetings held on Company premises. The Union Business representative may sit in on any and all such meetings. Notification of the Union Business representative shall be the responsibility of the committeeperson.
