Beginning of School Year. (1) A seniority list shall be posted on the Transportation bulletin board at least 5 days prior to the initial driver safety meeting. (2) At the same time, a list of all routes and shuttle runs shall be posted. Such posting shall describe the route or shuttle run in detail as to length of run, hours involved and other working condition information. (3) On the safety meeting day, initial minor adjustments in routes and shuttle runs will be resolved in informal discussions with the drivers and the Transportation Supervisor. If there is a disagreement, which is not resolved, the Transportation Supervisor will make the final determination. On that day, once these adjustments have been made, the routes and runs shall be posted. Each driver shall sign for his/her selection in seniority order. No more than five (5) minutes shall be allowed for each driver to make his/her selection.

Beginning of School Year. The District has a grace period of twenty (20) student days at the beginning of the year to correct over-enrolled classes. Starting on day 21, teachers will be compensated $10.00 for each additional student contact per day, retroactive to the first day of over enrollment, and for as long as they remain overenrolled.

When Students take classes at the College scheduled on days when School is closed, the School District will ensure that at least one staff member with administrative authority be on call and available to be reached by the College’s Office of High School Programs or other College staff in case of emergency. The designated School staff member will have access to Student emergency contact information. While the College agrees to make scheduling accommodations for required State assessments, including the STAAR and End of Course Exams, all contact hour requirements must be met. For assessments not mandated by the State, the College and School District will come to a mutual agreement on administration dates in order to appropriately manage disruptions of college courses and ensure contact hour requirements are met.
