Benefit Maintenance and Changes Clause Samples
The 'Benefit Maintenance and Changes' clause defines the employer's obligations regarding the continuation and modification of employee benefits during the term of an agreement. Typically, this clause outlines which benefits must be maintained, such as health insurance or retirement plans, and under what circumstances the employer may alter, reduce, or enhance these benefits. For example, it may specify that benefits will remain at current levels unless changes are mandated by law or agreed upon by both parties. The core function of this clause is to provide employees with assurance about the stability of their benefits while allowing the employer some flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances or legal requirements.
