Benefits While on LTD. The Board shall continue health and welfare benefit coverage for employees entitled to LTD, as long as the employee continues to receive benefits from the government-funded CORE LTD plan provided through the Public Education Benefits Trust (PEBT). Premiums for such benefit coverage shall be paid by the Board consistent with the employee’s current work assignment. It is further agreed that an employee who becomes disabled and who has a second job with a different employer on the date of disability with School District No. 79 (Cowichan Valley) shall have health and welfare benefits continued for the two yearsown occupation” period pursuant to the CORE LTD program. If after the two year period the employee continues to be disabled and continues to work for a different employer health and welfare benefits shall be discontinued. If an employee’s sole employment income is from Cowichan Valley School Board on the date of disability the employer will maintain the health and welfare benefits as long as the employee does not attain employment with a different employer.
Benefits While on LTD. The Employer will set aside $4,000 for the purpose of benefits coverage for Employees on LTD. The Union will receive a statement twice per year and shall meet within ten (10) days of receiving the statement in a Labour Management Committee with the Employer to review and discuss usage of these funds. The Labour Management Committee will be responsible for developing a protocol for use of these moneys. All Employees who are currently on Long-Term Disability will have access to these funds.

  • Benefits While on Leave An employee will continue to receive her/his salary and benefits while on paid leave under this Article. An employee on unpaid leave may arrange to pay the costs required to maintain benefit coverage in accordance with the local provisions of the collective agreement.

  • Benefits - In General The Executive shall be permitted during the Term to participate in any group life, hospitalization or disability insurance plans, health programs, equity incentive plans, long-term incentive programs, 401(k) and other retirement plans, fringe benefit programs and similar benefits that may be available (currently or in the future) to other senior executives of the Company generally, in each case to the extent that the Executive is eligible under the terms of such plans or programs.

  • Standard Company Benefits Executive shall be entitled to participate in all employee benefit programs for which Executive is eligible under the terms and conditions of the benefit plans that may be in effect from time to time and provided by the Company to its employees. The Company reserves the right to cancel or change the benefit plans or programs it offers to its employees at any time.

  • Other Company Benefits Executive and, to the extent applicable, Executive’s spouse, dependents and beneficiaries, shall be allowed to participate in all benefits, plans and programs, including improvements or modifications of the same, which are now, or may hereafter be, available to other executive employees of Company. Such benefits, plans and programs shall include, without limitation, any profit sharing plan, thrift plan, health insurance or health care plan, life insurance, disability insurance, pension plan, supplemental retirement plan, vacation and sick leave plan, and the like which may be maintained by Company. Company shall not, however, by reason of this paragraph be obligated to institute, maintain, or refrain from changing, amending, or discontinuing, any such benefit plan or program, so long as such changes are similarly applicable to executive employees generally.

  • Employee Entitlements while on Worker’s Compensation If an Employee is absent from work and is in receipt of worker’s compensation, the Employee’s contract of employment shall remain intact during the period of absence, the Employer shall continue to make contributions on behalf of the Employee to all the Employee Entitlement Funds as outlined in clauses 20 to 23 (inclusive) of this Agreement. The Employee shall also continue to accrue all appropriate leave entitlements for the entire period for which worker’s compensation is in receipt.

  • Benefits Perquisites and Expenses During the Term, the Executive shall be eligible to participate in employee benefit and fringe benefit plans and programs generally available to the executive officers of the Company and such additional benefits as the Board may from time to time provide. In addition, Executive shall be entitled to receive the personal benefits described on Exhibit A hereto. Executive shall be entitled to reimbursement for business expenses, including travel and entertainment; PROVIDED, that such reimbursement shall be limited to reasonable and necessary expenses incurred by Executive in connection with the performance of duties on behalf of the Company subject to: (i) timely submission of a properly executed Company expense report form accompanied by appropriate supporting documentation, and (ii) compliance with Company policies and procedures governing business expense reimbursement and reporting based upon principles and guidelines established by the Audit Committee of the Board, including periodic audits by the Internal Audit Department of the Company and/or the Audit Committee of the Board. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Executive shall in all events be entitled to reimbursement for travel expenses incurred in the performance of job duties commensurate with reimbursement policies generally available to similarly situated Vice Presidents.

  • Benefits on Layoff In the event of a lay-off of a full-time employee the Hospital shall pay its share of insured benefits premium up to three (3) months from the end of the month in which the lay-off occurs or until the laid off employee is employed elsewhere, whichever occurs first.

(b) Payment by the Company of the Employee's initiation and membership dues in all social and/or recreational clubs as deemed necessary and appropriate by the Employee to maintain various business relationships on behalf of the Company; provided, however, that the Company shall not be obligated to pay for any of the Employee's personal purchases and expenses at such club. (c) Provision by the Company during the Term and any extensions thereof to the Employee and his dependents of medical and other insurance coverage under the Company's Executive Medical Plan. (d) Provision by the Company of supplemental disability insurance sufficient to provide two-thirds of the Employee's pre-disability minimum base annual salary. (e) An annual incentive bonus for each calendar year included in this Agreement calculated pursuant to a formula substantially similar to (and the formula of which will not yield a bonus less than) the FY 2001 Incentive Plan adopted by the Compensation Committee of the Company with a target bonus based upon 100% of base annual salary, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A ("Incentive Bonus"); provided, however, that the Employer's stockholders approve an annual incentive bonus plan containing substantially the terms of the Incentive Bonus prior to its payment in accordance with Section 162(m) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, and the regulations promulgated thereunder. The annual bonus shall be paid no later than March 15th of the following year and is fully vested at the end of each year in the event of a non-renewal of this Agreement by the Company. Subject to Section 7 below, the annual bonus shall be pro-rated for any partial employment year. The Company shall deduct from all compensation payable under this Agreement to the Employee any taxes or withholdings the Company is required to deduct pursuant to state and federal laws or by mutual agreement between the parties
