BOOKING OFF. No employee will be booked off for an unpaid meal break between 2300 and 0600 hours.
BOOKING OFF. Where an employee is unable to report for a scheduled shift, she/he shall notify the Hospital as soon as possible and in any event, at least one hour prior to the commencement of the day shift and where possible, six (6) hours prior to the commencement of the afternoon or night shift.
BOOKING OFF. (a) In the case of sickness, an employee shall notify the Dispatcher, Supervisor or applicable office staff at least one (1) hour prior to the report time of a 10:00 a.m. or earlier scheduled work shift or at least two (2) hours prior to the report time of any scheduled work shift commencing after 10:00 a.m.
(b) Booking off for reasons other than sickness or emergency shall only be permitted if the employee has submitted a request to the respective Supervisor in writing and has received approval to book off.
(c) Booking on employees shall notify the Dispatcher as follows:
BOOKING OFF a. The Authority shall provide a form on which full- time operators may request time to be off-duty with a copy being provided for the operator.
b. Such registration shall not take place more than seven (7) calendar days prior to the date selected to be off duty.
c. Preference as to time off shall be given in the order in which the names appear in the book.
d. The book shall be kept accessible, but in case of dispute, only duly accredited officers of the Union shall be allowed to examine it.
BOOKING OFF. Should an employee wish to be absent from duty for any reason for a complete shift or part of a shift, the Employee must call the office or the appointed representative and provide five hours lead time Mondays to Fridays; on Saturdays, Sundays or Statutory Holidays the lead time required is one full day. If a relief employee cannot be found, it is mandatory that the booked employee commence the shift on time and remain until a replacement is obtained. Should an emergency arise during the night or on a Saturday, Sunday or Holidays, the employee must call the on duty at St. Laurent Depot.
BOOKING OFF. An engineer being physically unfit for duty will report same to Crew Office so that he may not be called. When he reports for duty he will go out on his assigned run or in his turn.
BOOKING OFF. Regular operators voluntarily booking off will be required to pick up their runs at their home locations after notifying the Company six,or more hours in advance of the next sign on time.
BOOKING OFF. Supervisory staff intending to be off must notify the Duty Superintendent no later than hours on the day previous to their absence. 'Ransit Supervisory staff who have been off sick must report their intention to return prior to hours of the day previous to their return.
BOOKING OFF. Employees booking off a shift/assignment starting before nine (9am) shall call the appropriate book-off extension for their department at least thirty (30) minutes before the start of the assignment, unless an emergency or extenuating circumstance does not allow such notice to be provided. Employees booking off a shift/assignment starting after nine (9am) shall call at least sixty (60) minutes before the start of the shift/assignment, unless an emergency or extenuating circumstance does not allow such notice to be provided.

It is understood that employees will make every reasonable effort to provide as much notice as possible.
