Bus Driver Trainer is an employee designated by the Division to train other bus drivers of the Fort la Xxxxx School Division.

Bus Driver Trainer. The bus driver trainer shall be compensated at the trainer’s regular JC 252 rate for all training hours.
Bus Driver Trainer. That employee qualified to perform and assigned to perform the duties of bus driver trainer shall be compensated at his or her rate of pay unless the time falls after contracted hours and then pay will be at time and a half.
Bus Driver Trainer. 32.1 The School District may assign a bus driver who is certified as a bus driver trainer to provide driver training to prospective or current employees of the District. A bus driver while so assigned and actually performing training activities shall be compensated at the bus driver’s regular hourly rate, and shall teach drivers or groups of drivers in such numbers and at such times as the District may determine. The District shall reimburse any driver assigned to this role for any renewal fees associated with maintaining the training certification, and at the end of any fiscal year in which such trainings are actually provided the trainer providing such trainings shall receive a stipend of $1,000, provided that during such fiscal year the bus driver has performed training on each occasion at any time during the year requested by the District (and the bus driver and the District will work cooperatively to schedule trainings that might otherwise conflict with a driver’s other responsibilities).
Bus Driver Trainer. The District agrees to retain or to send one (1) driver to school to be certified as a trainer, to be responsible for the training of drivers when required at a premium pay of $2.00 per hour for time spent on the road training or in the classroom training.
Bus Driver Trainer. The Parties recognize that the position of driver trainer is an out of scope position, and, that from time to time the Division will utilize the services of a Certified School Bus Instructor member of the bargaining unit for the purpose of bus driver training, and that the following is the hourly premium to be paid in addition to the employee’s regular hourly rate for all hours worked as a bus driver trainer: Current $1.47 Effective August 22, 2021 3.3% $1.52 Effective August 22, 2022 1.25% $1.54 Effective August 22, 2023 1.5% $1.56

  • Orientation and Training A transferring employee will be orientated separately to both or their new home in accordance with Article 20 the collective agreement of the designated employer.

  • Training a. The employer, in consultation with the local, shall be responsible for developing and implementing an ongoing harassment and sexual harassment awareness program for all employees. Where a program currently exists and meets the criteria listed in this agreement, such a program shall be deemed to satisfy the provisions of this article. This awareness program shall initially be for all employees and shall be scheduled at least once annually for all new employees to attend. b. The awareness program shall include but not be limited to: i. the definitions of harassment and sexual harassment as outlined in this Agreement; ii. understanding situations that are not harassment or sexual harassment, including the exercise of an employer's managerial and/or supervisory rights and responsibilities; iii. developing an awareness of behaviour that is illegal and/or inappropriate; iv. outlining strategies to prevent harassment and sexual harassment; v. a review of the resolution of harassment and sexual harassment as outlined in this Agreement; vi. understanding malicious complaints and the consequences of such; vii. outlining any Board policy for dealing with harassment and sexual harassment; viii. outlining laws dealing with harassment and sexual harassment which apply to employees in B.C.
