Cancellation of Holiday. The School District reserves the right, if school is in session, to cancel any of the above holidays and establish another holiday in lieu thereof with the understanding, however, that each employee under this provision will be guaranteed twelve (12) paid holidays per year. Any legal holiday or holidays which fall within an employee's vacation period shall not be counted as a vacation day.

Cancellation of Holiday. After the declaration of COVID-19 as a global pandemic by the World Health Organization, COVID-19 and its consequences are no longer unforeseen or unexpected. We strongly advise that you take out travel insurance to cover your holiday should you need to cancel due to a change in circumstances. COVID-19: If, due to Covid-19 related issues, any of the following circumstances arise (for both catered and self-catered bookings): The French Government, or the Government in your home country you are travelling from, puts in place governmental advice affecting either the whole of your home country or the local region that you live in, restricting travel to France, or preventing your ability to carry out the purpose of your holiday, and is applicable to all the residents of that country or region you live in and that such advice covers your departure date A further lockdown is implemented across the whole of France, or locally affecting Châtel, Haute-Xxxxxx, and this lockdown applies during your dates booked; or The French Government has introduced quarantine measures for travellers from your home country covering a period equal to or longer than the duration of your stay. The Government in your home country you are travelling from introduces quarantine measures for 7 days or longer applicable on your return from France and these measures apply to you during your dates booked. The following refund policy will apply: You will receive a refund in full for any holiday not taken minus the initial booking deposit paid. Alternatively, at your sole discretion and choice, you can opt for the full balance of your booking, including the full deposit with no deductions, to be transferred as a refund credit note to a new booking within 24 months of your original booking. For our Refund Credit Note Terms please see below. All payments for Lift Passes made directly to us will be refunded 100% with no deductions up until your arrival date in resort. These ‘flexible’ Covid conditions will only apply if strictly related to the Covid-19 pandemic over your dates booked and we will require proof from a Government website demonstrating such measures listed above are in place triggering these cancellation rights, and also where necessary proof of your residency in the home country effected, before we are able to process your refund and/or refund credit note due. Cancellation of Holiday. 14.5.1 Where the Manager cancels holiday within the 4-week period of holiday notification, the Manager shall be liable to reimburse the Artist for any non- refundable travel and / or accommodation costs incurred by the Artist for such holiday period. The Manager shall have the right to require the Artist to provide appropriate support documentation of such non-refundable expense.
Cancellation of Holiday. Off Employees who have previously scheduled holiday leave cancelled and are unable to reschedule during the current calendar year shall be able to carry over the unused holiday to the next calendar year. Any unused holiday leave carried over must be rescheduled in the first two (2) months of the next calendar year. Such carry-over holiday leave is not subject to the conversions provisions of this Article.

  • Reduction of Hours The Employer shall not reduce the weekly hours of work of an employee for the purpose of replacing such hours with another employee at a lower hourly rate of pay.

  • Observance of Holidays The Board of Trustees may establish calendars that observe holidays on dates other than those listed above, or as modified by current institutional practices.

  • HOLIDAYS THAT FALL ON A SATURDAY For those employees assigned to a work week of Monday through Friday, and in the event a legal holiday falls on Saturday, the preceding Friday shall be observed as a holiday; provided, however, that except where the Governor declares that such preceding Friday shall be a legal holiday, each department head shall make provision for the staffing of public offices under his/her jurisdiction on such preceding Friday so that said public offices may serve the public as provided in Section 16.4 of the Administrative Code.
