CAREER DEVELOPMENT PLANNING. 1. By September 1, 2013, the State shall adopt and implement policies and procedures for developing career development plans for each individual in the TTP Target Population. By September 1, 2013, the State and PPSD shall adopt and implement policies and procedures for developing career development plans for each individual in the Birch Exit Target Population. The policies will include a presumption that all individuals covered by this Interim Agreement are capable of working in an integrated employment setting and that a rapid search process for employment should be implemented for individuals eligible for Supported Employment Services under this Interim Agreement. The policies will also include the presumption that all individuals covered by this Interim Agreement will be ensured an active and leading role in the career development planning process. The policies also will include a provision that no readiness criteria shall be used in pre- eligibility determinations to assess an individual’s ability to work in an integrated setting. All individuals covered by this Interim Agreement will be presumed ready for employment. 2. The State shall adopt evidence-based vocational assessments and vocational eligibility criteria that are person-centered and appropriate for individuals with I/DD; based on the presumption that with the appropriate services and supports individuals with I/DD can work; and designed to reveal information about an individual’s skills, interests, strengths and abilities, regardless of whether the individual has the verbal ability to express such information. 3. For the purposes of this Interim Agreement, no vocational or situational assessments, including those conducted by the State, or any vendors or contractors of the State, shall be conducted in segregated work settings, including in sheltered workshops or in any setting that does not meet the definitions and standards set forth in Sections V(D)-(E). 4. The State shall ensure that all assessments: a. Are conducted by appropriate and trained staff; b. Maintain fidelity to an asset-based assessment model (like MAPS, PATHS, or VAPS); c. Are available for all individuals eligible for relief under this Interim Agreement to be assessed in several different integrated employment settings, should they desire to be assessed in more than one community employment setting; and d. Are conducted with the appropriate accommodations, services and supports necessary for individuals eligible for relief ...

CAREER DEVELOPMENT PLANNING. Consistent with ODDS policy and administrative rules, all individuals in the Executive Order 15-01's ODDS/VR Target Population Section II(1)(a) shall have received a CDP by July 1, 2015. DHS shall determine whether all such CDPs have been developed and shall utilize performance-based contracting metrics to impose financial penalties on responsible entities that fail to develop a CDP for any person in Target Population III(1)(a) of the Agreement, after receiving notice and an opportunity to cure. Individuals in ODDS/VR Target Population Section III(1)(b) of the Agreement will receive a CDP prior to their expected exit from the school district. If an individual in ODDS/VR Target Population Section III(1)(b) leaves school prior to his or her expected exit, he or she will receive a CDP within one year of the unexpected exit. The provision of Employment Services will not be delayed or denied due to a lack of a CDP.

  • Procurement Planning Prior to the issuance of any invitations to bid for contracts, the proposed procurement plan for the Project shall be furnished to the Association for its review and approval, in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 1 of Appendix 1 to the Guidelines. Procurement of all goods and works shall be undertaken in accordance with such procurement plan as shall have been approved by the Association, and with the provisions of said paragraph 1.

  • Transition Planning The AGENCY will be responsible for the development of the student’s Transition Plan, which begins upon entry and is completed prior to the student’s exit.
