CERTIFICATION PREMIUMS. Any represented Building Inspectors who hold certifications in the following ICBO categories shall be granted additional premium pay as follows above the base rate per hour for each such certification. The combined total of these premiums shall not exceed 5%. These premiums will be paid only when the certifications are current. CERTIFICATION PREMIUMS. (i) Electrical-269 (e) Certification: As per the Ontario Electrical Safety Authority spec- 003 (2.3) and (3.2.12). Individuals specifically assigned by the Company to perform work requiring such certification will be compensated at the Generator Operator rate.
CERTIFICATION PREMIUMS. 26.1 MAINTENANCE WORKER II – WATER TREATMENT OPERATOR PREMIUM - Maintenance Worker II – Water Treatment Operator employees holding valid state certifications as required by the Employer, shall receive a premium of one-hundred and twenty-five ($125) dollars per month. 26.2 An employee required to hold a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) as a minimum job qualification who’s CDL is revoked for medical reasons shall be eligible for continued employment in the same classification. Such continued employment is conditioned on the Employer having sufficient personnel to cover CDL-related duties without an increase in overtime costs. Such employees may be reassigned to a different position in order to accommodate continued employment. The Employer shall not be required to make any accommodations for employees who have been employed for less than five (5) years, who were previously provided an accommodation under this section within the past five (5) years, who are serving under a “last chance” agreement, or whose CDL was revoked due to non-medical reasons or drug/alcohol abuse. In the event an employee has their CDL revoked for medical reasons, the employee shall promptly notify the Employer. The parties will meet to discuss a reasonable timeframe for the employee to re-qualify for the CDL and associated medical card. Absent special circumstances approved by the Employer, this timeframe shall not exceed eighteen (18) months. An employee provided an accommodation under this section shall have their pay reduced by fifteen percent (15%) on the salary schedule, effective the next pay cycle after revocation of the CDL. If the employee has not advanced fifteen percent (15%) above the entry level wage for the classification, they shall be moved to the entry wage on the salary schedule. In the event an employee who had their CDL revoked due to medical reasons is able to subsequently re-qualify for the CDL and associated medical card, the employee will be placed back at the same step of the salary range the employee had at the time of the revocation. In the event any provision in this section conflicts with federal or state law governing CDLs or reasonable accommodations, then the minimum requirements of the law shall apply.

A nurse shall be eligible to receive only one certification premium at any given time. The nurse must document, to the Hospital’s satisfaction, certification achievement and maintenance. Certification List: CEN; CCRN; CDE; CNOR; Gerontological, Cardiac Rehabilitation, Med/Surg, PACU, Oncology, Rural Nursing; and Chemotherapy/Biotherapy. The Chief Nursing Officer shall have the discretion to add certifications to the certification list in order to encourage nurses to pursue their competencies.

If a certification referred to above is no longer offered, the Hospital may, in its discretion, specify a substitute certification; provided, however, there shall not be less than one certification recognized for each area.

  • Certification Pay A nurse who obtains and maintains a nationally recognized nursing certification shall receive a differential of $1.00 per hour for all compensated hours. If initial certification is obtained during the prior calendar year, only those hours that are compensated beginning with the first full payroll period subsequent to certification shall be considered. An approved certification list shall be established by mutual consent between the PNCC and the Chief Nurse Executive or designee and shall be updated on an annual basis.

  • AS9100 Certification ‌ AS9100 Certification, specifies requirements for a quality management system to demonstrate the Contractor’s ability to consistently meet the customer requirements as well as statutory and regulatory requirements for the aerospace industry. An AS9100 Certification, is not mandatory; however, Contractors who desire to compete for work within the aerospace industry are encouraged to have AS9100 Certification, during the entire term of OASIS. The Contractor shall notify the OASIS CO, in writing, if there are any changes in the status of their AS9100 Certification, and provide the reasons for the change and copies of audits from an AS9100 Certification Body, as applicable. If only part of a Contractor’s organization is AS9100, certified, the Contractor shall make the distinction between which business units or sites and geographic locations have been certified.

  • New Certifications If a participating Employer is newly certified by ONA at one of its owned nursing homes for its registered nurses, the existing standard non-monetary provisions in the central ONA/RN agreements will automatically apply to the nurses effective nine (9) months after the Employer receives notice to bargain from the Union or a Memorandum of Agreement or Interest Arbitration Award is received, whichever is earlier.   • Recertification Upon expiration of the time period which the health care provider originally estimated that the employee needed for his/her own serious health condition, the City may require the employee to obtain recertification if additional leave is requested.

  • RECYCLING CERTIFICATION The Contractor shall certify in writing under penalty of perjury, the minimum, if not exact, percentage of post consumer material as defined in the Public Contract Code Section 12200, in products, materials, goods, or supplies offered or sold to the State regardless of whether the product meets the requirements of Public Contract Code Section 12209. With respect to printer or duplication cartridges that comply with the requirements of Section 12156(e), the certification required by this subdivision shall specify that the cartridges so comply (Pub. Contract Code §12205).

  • CLEC Certification 8.1 Notwithstanding any other provision of this Agreement, CenturyLink shall have no obligation to perform under this Agreement until such time as CLEC has obtained such FCC and Commission authorization(s) as may be required by Applicable Law for conducting business in the State as a competitive local exchange carrier. CLEC shall not be permitted to establish its account nor place any orders under this Agreement until it has obtained such authorization and provided proof of such to CenturyLink. For the life of this Agreement, CLEC must represent and warrant to CenturyLink that it remains a certified local provider of Telephone Exchange Service within CenturyLink’s Local Calling Area(s) in the State. At any time during the life of this Agreement, CLEC will provide a copy of its current Certificate of Operating Authority or other evidence of its status to CenturyLink upon request. CLEC’s failure to maintain such authorization(s) as may be required by Applicable Law for conducting business in the State as a CLEC shall be considered a Default of Agreement.

  • E-VERIFY CERTIFICATION Pursuant to Executive Order RP-80, Engineer certifies and ensures that for all contracts for services, Engineer shall, to the extent permitted by law, utilize the United States Department of Homeland Security’s E-Verify system during the term of this agreement to determine the eligibility of: 1. All persons employed by Engineer during the term of this agreement to perform duties within the State of Texas; and 2. All persons, including subcontractors, assigned by Engineer to perform work pursuant to this agreement. Violation of this provision constitutes a material breach of this agreement.

  • Certification of Coverage Engineer shall furnish County with a certification of coverage issued by the insurer. Engineer shall not cause any insurance to be canceled nor permit any insurance to lapse. In addition to any other notification requires set forth hereunder, Engineer shall also notify County, within twenty-four (24) hours of receipt, of any notices of expiration, cancellation, non-renewal, or material change in coverage it receives from its insurer.

  • Certification of amounts A notice which is signed by 2 officers of a Creditor Party, which states that a specified amount, or aggregate amount, is due to that Creditor Party under this Clause 21 and which indicates (without necessarily specifying a detailed breakdown) the matters in respect of which the amount, or aggregate amount, is due shall be prima facie evidence that the amount, or aggregate amount, is due.

  • Drug-Free Workplace Certification As required by Executive Order No. 90-5 dated April 12, 1990, issued by the Governor of Indiana, the Company hereby covenants and agrees to make a good faith effort to provide and maintain a drug-free workplace at the Project Location. The Company will give written notice to the IEDC within ten (10) days after receiving actual notice that the Company, or an employee of the Company in the State of Indiana, has been convicted of a criminal drug violation occurring in the workplace. False certification or violation of this certification may result in sanctions including, but not limited to, suspension of payments under the Agreement, termination of the Agreement and/or debarment of contracting opportunities with the State for up to three (3) years. In addition to the provisions of the above paragraph, if the total amount set forth in the Agreement is in excess of $25,000.00, the Company agrees that it will provide a drug-free workplace by: A. Publishing and providing to all of its employees a statement notifying them that the unlawful manufacture, distribution, dispensing, possession or use of a controlled substance is prohibited in the Company’s workplace, and specifying the actions that will be taken against employees for violations of such prohibition;
