Charge Premium. The charge premium of $2.00 per hour will be paid to a 27 nurse who is designated in writing by the unit manager to have 28 responsibilities for coordinating unit staff and activities related to patient 29 care and patient care assignments. The selection and the assignment of 30 the charge nurse differential shall be at the sole discretion of the unit 31 nursing manager. It is understood that any relief charge nurse identified in 32 writing by the unit manager shall be entitled to the charge differential when 33 carrying out such assignments in the absence of the charge nurse.
Charge Premium. The charge premium will be paid to a nurse who under the direction of a patient care manager or house supervisor is responsible for coordination of unit staff and activities related to patient care and patient care assignments. Charge Premium. Effective April 6, 2008, a Registered Nurse assigned to work more than one (1) hour as Charge Nurse shall be paid a Charge Nurse premium of $2.25 per hour for each hour s/he works as Charge Nurse.
Charge Premium. Where the Employer designates an Associate Care Coordinator or Licensed Practical Nurse to assume “in charge” responsibility in the absence of the Manager, they shall be paid an additional one-dollar-and-fifty cents ($1.50) per hour. Hours to which the premium applies will be designated by the Manager. Effective January 1, 2024, the charge premium shall increase by fifty cents ($0.50) per hour to two dollars ($2) per hour.
Charge Premium. An employee performing the Charge duties shall be compensated at the rate of two dollars and fifty cents ($2.50) for each hour worked as a Charge. This will be paid in addition to any other shift or weekend premiums.
Charge Premium. Effective April 1, 2020, an employee who is required to be in charge of the facility shall be paid a premium of two dollars and five cents ($2.05) per hour for all hours worked while in charge. Effective April 1, 2021, the above premium shall increase to two dollars and ten cents ($2.10) per hour. Effective April 1, 2022, the above premium shall increase to two dollars and twenty-five cents ($2.25) per hour.
Charge Premium. Effective January 5, 2004, those nurses who are designated Charge Nurse by their supervisor for a nursing unit shall receive one dollar and fifty cents ($1.50) per hour for such period of assignment.
Charge Premium. Effective date of ratification, an employee who is required to be in charge of the facility shall be paid a premium of two dollars ($2.00) per hour for all hours worked while in charge.

The Employee assigned to be in charge shall be paid a premium of one dollar and fifty cents ($1 per hour for each hour worked with such designated charge duty. When an Employee is assigned such responsibility, she shall be paid a premium of cents ($0.75) per hour for each hour worked with such responsibility assignment. When an Employee works any hours within the (56) hour period over Saturday and Sunday, designated by the Employer as the weekend, she shall be paid an additional one dollar and cents ($1.65) per hour for all hours worked within designated period.
