Policies of academic misconduct apply to all course-, department-, school-, and university-related activities, including field trips, conferences, performances, and sports activities off-campus, exams outside of a specific course structure (such as take-home exams, entrance exams, or auditions, theses and master’s exams, and doctoral qualifying exams and dissertations), and research work outside of a specific course structure (such as lab experiments, data collection, service learning, and collaborative research projects). The faculty member may take into account the seriousness of the violation in assessing a penalty for acts of academic misconduct. Cheating and Plagiarism. Cheating or plagiarism of any type will not be tolerated. Students who choose to cheat or plagiarize face a failing grade, detention, suspension, and/or expulsion. A student athlete who is involved in cheating or plagiarism will also be unable to participate in athletics. Multiple incidences of cheating or plagiarism will result in suspension or expulsion. We value our athletic program and find it to be an important part of our extra-curricular activities. All parents wishing to volunteer in any coaching capacity must be a BMCS family member or active parishioner to be considered for a coaching position. All coaching positions are pending approval of the Director of Athletics, Principal, and pastor. As with all volunteer positions, coaches are required to attend the Protecting God’s Children Seminar. Illinois Conceal Carry Law - Illinois’ concealed carry law was passed in 2013 and allows individuals to apply for licenses to carry a concealed firearm. However, carrying a concealed weapon is PROHIBITED in school buildings or on school property, according to the law (430 ILCS 66/65). Signs are posted on all school/parish entrances. In accordance with the stated philosophy of the school, which emphasizes deep respect for the human dignity and uniqueness of every individual, each student will be considerate of the rights of others in all interactions. All students are expected to cooperate with the spirit and policies of the school which are designed to xxxxxx mature development and personal responsibility. This requires courtesy in all personal relationships, promptness in fulfilling obligations, concern for the environment, and many other factors which the students’ sense of appropriateness will indicate to them. The school Administration, in accordance with state laws, will determine the appropriate disciplinary measures to be taken concerning the presence of these items in the school. Cheating and Plagiarism. Using the work of other people rather than doing your own work deprives you of the chance to actually learn the material you are expected to learn. Show respect for the work of authors and researchers by not copying their information. Learn to cite their work properly if you want to use it as an example. Cheating on an exam, copying the work of another student or from the Internet, or giving your work to another student may result in a zero grade being assigned and the student being placed on a contract. Additional discipline will be assigned as specified in the discipline chart. Discipline policies will apply to both parties involved in cheating. • Peer Relationships - Students should be aware of acceptable behavior on campus or at any school activity or trip. We depend on the good judgment of the student. Overt physical contact such as kissing, prolonged hugging, or sitting in laps is not permitted. Students failing to use good judgment will be warned and parents notified. Oak Park Unified School District's Administrative Regulation (“AR”) 5145.3(g)(4) states: A student shall be permitted to participate in accordance with his/her gender identity in other circumstances where students are separated by gender, such as for class discussions, yearbook pictures, and field trips. • Harassment - (REPEATED name-calling, bullying, rumors, unkind behavior) will not be tolerated. • Sexual Harassment - Sexual harassment is unwelcomed sexual attention. It is attention of a sexual nature that is not wanted by the person receiving it. The issue is the impact of the attention and not the intent. Even if the one conferring the attention is unaware that the attention is unwelcome, it may be offensive. (Behavior resulting from mutual attraction is not a form of sexual harassment, because both parties welcome the interaction.) It is sexual harassment when: A person in a position of power coerces, or attempts to coerce, a subordinate or a student into providing sexual favors. (The subordinate or student may not feel at liberty to say "no" due to the imbalance of power); an individual behaves (or group of individuals behave) in a manner that is sexual in nature that creates a hostile, offensive, or intimidating work or learning environment. (This behavior may occur between people with unequal power, as well as between peers.)
Cheating and Plagiarism. Cheating and plagiarism are deceptive choices made by students to misrepresent the student’s true knowledge of the subject material (cheating) or misrepresenting information as their own ideas/concepts/words by not giving proper credit to the original source (plagiarism). All papers or projects submitted at DAS are required to be the student’s own product unless stated in writing by the teacher. Therefore, copying information from the Internet (i.e. “cutting & pasting”, etc.) or any Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI) source such as ChatGPT or similar GAI source without permission or reference, is considered plagiarism. The use of cell phones or other electronic devices to complete any assignment is considered plagiarism unless directed to use an internet source by their teacher. However, drawings and/or pictures may be taken from an Internet or other source as long as they are properly cited in the document. Cheating and plagiarism demonstrate a deliberate disregard for the educational program and are considered a serious matter. Students who cheat or plagiarize will immediately be given a zero on the assignment/project and referred to the administration using a Referral to the Xxxx of Students.
Cheating and Plagiarism. You should feel free to study with friends, but any work you submit for a grade should be your own work. This applies to all exams, quizzes, and writing assignments, with the exception of any assignment that is specifically designated as a group assignment.   • Training and Promotion a. The contractor will assist in locating, qualifying, and increasing the skills of minorities and women who are applicants for employment or current employees. Such efforts should be aimed at developing full journey level status employees in the type of trade or job classification involved. b. Consistent with the contractor's work force requirements and as permissible under Federal and State regulations, the contractor shall make full use of training programs, i.e., apprenticeship, and on-the-job training programs for the geographical area of contract performance. In the event a special provision for training is provided under this contract, this subparagraph will be superseded as indicated in the special provision. The contracting agency may reserve training positions for persons who receive welfare assistance in accordance with 23 U.S.C. 140(a). c. The contractor will advise employees and applicants for employment of available training programs and entrance requirements for each. d. The contractor will periodically review the training and promotion potential of employees who are minorities and women and will encourage eligible employees to apply for such training and promotion.

  • PACKING AND SHIPPING a. Seller shall pack the goods and materials to prevent damage and deterioration. Unless otherwise set forth in this Contract, Seller shall package the goods in accordance with the requirements of Boeing Document D37522-6 “Supplier Packaging”. Buyer may charge Seller for damage to or deterioration of any goods resulting from improper packing or packaging. b. If the Contract specifies FOB destination (place of delivery), then in addition to any other shipping instructions, Seller shall forward goods freight prepaid. Seller shall make the transportation arrangements, pay the shipping costs, and remain responsible for the goods and materials until the goods and materials are delivered and the Buyer takes possession at the destination. c. If the Contract specifies FOB origin (place of shipment), then in addition to any other shipping instructions, Seller shall forward goods collect. For goods shipped within the United States, Seller shall make no declaration concerning the value of the goods shipped except on goods where the tariff rating is dependent upon released or declared value. In such event, Seller shall release or declare such value at the maximum value within the lowest rating. Seller will ship the goods in accordance with the provisions set forth in the Boeing Domestic Shipment Routing Guide to be accessed through Buyer’s supplier portal at xxxxx://xxxxxx.xxxxxxx.xxx/. Sellers need a One Time Password (OTP) token to log into the Boeing Supplier Portal. Upon Xxxxx’s request, Seller will identify packaging charges showing material and labor costs for container fabrication. d. Seller shall provide with each container shipped under this Contract an Advanced Shipping Notice (“ASN”). For each container shipped, Seller shall provide two (2) readable copies of the ASN barcode as follows: one (1) copy is to be securely affixed to the outside of each container and one (1) copy is to be loose inside each container. Non- conforming shipments are subject to rejection and repackaging at Seller’s expense. Instructions and guidelines related to the ASN process can be found on the Boeing Supplier Portal. Seller shall access by selecting the “Enterprise ASN Instructions” hyper-link under the header “Exostar Resources”. A copy of these instructions can also be found at xxx.xxxxxxx.xxx.

  • Plagiarism The appropriation of another person's ideas, processes, results, or words without giving appropriate credit.

  • TRAINING AND RELATED MATTERS The parties recognise that in order to increase the efficiency and productivity of the company a significant commitment to structured training and skill development is required. Accordingly the parties commit themselves to: a) The parties to this Agreement recognise the importance of the apprenticeship system to the construction industry. It is agreed that every employer party to this Agreement who employs five (5) or more tradespersons in any one classification shall undertake to employ at least one (1) apprentice or make arrangements to host an apprentice from an agreed group apprenticeship scheme. Where an employer does not currently have an apprentice as per this provision, reasonable time shall be allowed to enable the employer to comply with this clause. Further, the parties are committed to a strong ratio of apprentices in the industry. Apprenticeship levels on a specific project may be discussed at the Project Pre-Commencement Conference (refer Clause 16). b) Providing employees with the opportunity to acquire additional skills within relevant career path structures through appropriate structured training based on nationally endorsed (i.e. Construction Training Australia endorsed) competency standards and curriculum; c) Actively encouraging employees to seek formal recognition of their skills (i.e. recognition of prior learning); and d) Using training providers accredited and acceptable to the parties. The CFMEU, MBAV and other employer associations are legitimately engaged in providing training to industry and it is hereby agreed that all parties will properly recognise and accept the validity of nationally accredited training as provided by the other parties. e) The parties will consult on the development of training programs which are consistent with the following: • Training provided will be consistent with the company’s business requirements, relevant to the work of the employees, consistent with the skills development of each employee and with applicable national competency standards. • Training may be taken either on or off the job with all reasonable steps being taken to conduct training in normal working hours. • If an approved training activity is undertaken during ordinary working hours, the employee/s concerned shall not suffer any loss of pay. • Approved training activities undertaken outside of ordinary hours will be paid at single time or will, at the employee’s option, be taken as time off in lieu of payment. Provided that the scheduling of time off must be consistent with the needs of the business and be by agreement with the company. • Training costs of courses approved by the company will be met by the company. • The company will not be asked to meet the costs of training undertaken by employees which was not approved by the company. • Leave of absence granted pursuant to this clause shall count as service for all purposes of the award and this agreement. • Accredited members of the union will be allowed up to 5 days per year, without loss of pay, to attend trade union educational courses conducted or approved by the union. (see appendix H) f) The parties to this Agreement recognise the importance of the role that Apprentices/Trainees fulfill within the industry and, more importantly, a role that they will fulfill as trades persons following the conclusion of the indentures. To this end the Victorian Building Industry Consultative Committee will investigate ways of enhancing employment prospects for Apprentice/Trainees. In addition it is agreed that, where appropriate, employers will use their best endeavours to employ Apprentices/Trainees in order to ensure appropriate trade persons levels for the future.

  • SHIPPING AND AIR TRANSPORT 1. Profits of an enterprise of a Contracting State from the operation of ships or aircraft in international traffic shall be taxable only in that State. 2. The provisions of paragraph 1 shall also apply to profits from the participation in a pool, a joint business or an international operating agency.

  • Training and Support Licensor shall offer installation support to the Licensee and each of the Members, including assisting with the implementation of any Licensor software. Licensor will provide appropriate training to Licensee and Member staff relating to the use of the Licensed Materials and any Licensor software. Licensor will offer reasonable levels of continuing support to assist Licensee and Members in use of the Licensed Materials, including providing help files and other appropriate user documentation in connection with the use of and access to Licensed Materials. Licensor will, at a minimum, make its personnel available by email, telephone or via the Web, or in person during Licensor’s regular business hours, Monday through Friday, for training and user access support.
