Discipline Policies. I understand that The Gift of Kids does NOT USE Corporal Punishment. Our teachers use the following methods: a) redirection b) planning ahead to prevent problems c) encouragement of appropriate behavior d) consistent, clear rules e) role playing to solve problems. Behavior problems may/will result in a parent conference and may lead to termination. We have a strict rule on biting. Three bites may/will result in termination. Please refer to #18 section “c” for further details on biting.

Discipline Policies warning is given to child, with an explanation of the offense. Second Offense: “Cool Down" in the classroom under direct teacher supervision. Teacher will multiply one minute times the age of the child ( a 4-year-old will sit in "time out" for 4 minutes) Third Offense: The teacher will call the administrator to the room to discuss with the child the offense for which he/she is being reprimanded. Fourth Offense: Parent will be contacted for a conference, with the approval of the administrator. The owner, administrator, teacher, and parents will discuss a solution to the particular offense. The Following Discipline Policy For Little Sprouts Shall Apply To All Persons On The Premises And Shall Be Restricted As Follows: We model appropriate behavior; we praise, reward, and encourage the children. We reason with and provide the children with logical consequences of their behavior. We provide alternatives for inappropriate behavior to the children. We DO NOT spank, shake, or otherwise physically punish the children. We DO NOT make fun of or otherwise verbally abuse the children. We DO NOT place the children in locked rooms, closets, or boxes as punishment. We DO NOT withhold food, rest, or toilet use. We DO NOT leave any child unattended. Grounds for Dismissal- *If Little Sprouts Day Care Inc. feels that the child is not a good Mit they have the right to as that child to leave. If they are not able to comply with the admission agreement behavior, Little Sprouts has the right to ask them to leave and Mind another childcare option.

Discipline Policies. It is the goal of the SVDP Royal Kids Program to provide a safe, respectful environment for all participants and staff. Participants of the program will be expected to respect others and their property, follow directions, and act in a safe manner toward themselves and others.
Discipline Policies. Our Board believes that it is the right of all children to learn in a safe, orderly classroom. Franklin Students will (be): All Classrooms will adhere to the basic school rule beliefs. Children in group settings need to have higher standards of behavior than they do individually. For example children can use louder voices when they are at home than they can at school because of the noise level. When children first begin attending our school they may need help getting used to some of our behavior restrictions, which are needed for our school environment. All classrooms will be using a discipline procedure as follows for minor infractions: 2nd Infraction 2nd Warning, consequence occurs such as loss of 5 minutes of recess 4th Infraction REFOCUS Opportunity To allow children an opportunity to think about their behavior or perhaps complete homework, lunch or recess may be assigned. This detention will be served, if possible, the day of the behavior infraction and will be supervised by the Teacher or Teacher Assistant. Every attempt will be made to contact parents to keep you informed. Franklin Phonetic School does its best to make sure that children get plenty of time to socialize with peers and actively play. Our staff does not assign detention when it is not warranted.
