Classification Statement of Duties - Catering. Level 1 -Catering Assistant/Kitchen hand This is an employee required to perform general tasks in the preparation and presentation of equipment and food handling. • Successfully completed induction period. • Required to perform all functions associated with the preparation, presentation, handling and storage of food, beverages, equipment and goods. • Duties will be performed in accordance with organizational specifications and in such a manner as to comply with hygienic, safety, quality, customer service and performance standards. • The accurate make up of carts and food trays associated with the catering of an aircraft requiring the tallying of items, their checking off and recording of details as required. • Ability to follow both written and verbal work instructions including the use of bar code reader and computer aids to access data. • Availability for deployment in any work area of work centre for part or whole of shift basis where required for operational demand. • Performance of all functions associated with the general cleaning of all work and scullery areas of kitchen. • Ensuring a minimum standard of food production, garbage removal and distribution of hygiene equipment. • Plating of food in cold preparation areas and hot food packing areas, using either belt or table operation. • Progression to Level 2 will be upon successful application of the skills required to operate at Level 2. Level 2 - Catering Assistant Will be experienced and proficient in all aspects of catering functions outlined at Level 1 and will have successfully completed the recognised training program and in addition will include: • use of knife skills of a varied and complex nature. • Required to use basic communication and computer aids and the recording of information as required. • Required to compile reports and prepare documents. • Responsible for the assembly of complex meals or dishes to the specifications provided. • Carry out duties as requested by senior staff subject to appropriate training. • Performs work under general supervision either individually or in a team environment. • Exercise discretion within the scope of this level. • Required to utilise skills necessary to efficiently meet performance and operational requirements in a changing work environment. Progression in catering service attendant - Level 3 will occur on successful application to a vacant position.   • Appointment of Key Sub-Contractors The Supplier shall ensure that all Sub-Contracts contain a provision: requiring the Supplier to pay any undisputed sums which are due from it to the Sub-Contractor within a specified period not exceeding thirty (30) days from the receipt of a valid invoice; requiring that any invoices submitted by a Sub-Contractor shall be considered and verified by the Supplier in a timely fashion and that undue delay in doing so shall not be sufficient justification for failing to regard an invoice as valid and undisputed; requiring the Sub-Contractor to include in any Sub-Contract which it in turn awards suitable provisions to impose, as between the parties to that Sub-Contract, requirements to the same effect as those required by sub-clauses 5.17.1 and 5.17.2 directly above; and conferring a right to the Customer to publish the Supplier’s compliance with its obligation to pay undisputed invoices within the specified payment period. The Supplier shall pay any undisputed sums which are due from it to a Sub-Contractor within thirty (30) days from the receipt of a valid invoice. Any invoices submitted by a Sub-Contractor to the Supplier shall be considered and verified by the Supplier in a timely fashion. Undue delay in doing so shall not be sufficient justification for the Supplier failing to regard an invoice as valid and undisputed. Notwithstanding any provision of Clauses 9.2 (Confidentiality) and 13 (Publicity, Media and Official Enquiries) if the Supplier notifies the Customer that the Supplier has failed to pay an undisputed Sub-Contractor’s invoice within thirty (30) days of receipt, or the Customer otherwise discovers the same, the Customer shall be entitled to publish the details of the late or non-payment (including on Government websites and in the press).

  • CLASSIFICATION OF POSITIONS The University shall classify and/or reclassify all positions in the bargaining unit according to the nature and difficulty of duties assigned to and performed by the employee based on a current and accurate job description and shall assign to each position in the bargaining unit a classification title, number, and salary range. An employee new to his/her position will receive a copy of his/her job description upon hire. The appropriate administrator/supervisor will review the description with the employee. Materials used in determining classifications and reclassifications, such as class specifications and reclassification interpretation manuals, shall be readily available to the Union and employees on request.

  • TRANSITION OF SUPPLY In connection with the expiration, cancellation or termination of the Purchase Order by either Buyer or Seller, in whole or in part, for any or no cause (including, without limitation, Buyer’s decision to change to an alternate source for manufacture of the goods in question, including but not limited to a Buyer- owned or -operated facility), Seller will cooperate in the transition of supply. Seller will continue production and delivery of all goods and services as ordered by Buyer, at the prices and in compliance with the terms of the Purchase Order, without premium or other condition, during the entire period reasonably needed by Buyer to complete the transition to the alternate supplier(s). Subject to Seller’s reasonable capacity constraints, Seller will provide special overtime production, storage and/or management of extra inventory of the goods or services, extraordinary packaging and transportation and other special services (collectively, “Transition Support”) as expressly requested by Buyer in writing. If resource of the goods or services occurs for reasons other than Seller’s termination or breach, Buyer will, at the end of the transition period, pay the reasonable, actual cost of Transition Support as requested and incurred, provided that, upon request, Seller has advised Buyer prior to incurring such amounts of its estimate of such costs. If the parties disagree on the cost of Transition Support, Xxxxx will pay the agreed portion to Seller and pay the disputed portion into third-party escrow for disbursement after the dispute has been resolved.
