Common Planning. In addition to the above individual preparation time elementary teachers will have one and one-half (1-1/2) hours per week of common planning time and middle school and high school teachers will have two (2) hours per month (18 hours per school year) of common planning time. Common planning periods shall be planned and developed collaboratively by a common planning team made up of the school improvement chair, building administration and interested teachers. Common planning time will be used in conjunction with the building and District goals established for the 2002-03 school year.

Common Planning. The second of the two (2) administrator-directed hours beyond the duty day is provided to continue creating the products specific to the learning tasks listed in part 3.a above within your grade level, department, and/or vertical planning teams. Employees are expected to participate in person during the two (2) mandatory hours each week. However, if an employee should need occasional flexibility, or should an employee be advised to isolate or quarantine, then remote participation via an approved District platform is acceptable.
Common Planning. “When, in the discretion of the principal, a teacher is not needed to perform supervisory duties, the principal may assign that teacher to a common planning period for the purpose of planning interdisciplinary or grade level curriculum and instruction. In no event will a teacher be required to participate in common planning more than three times per week. Principals will make every effort to include teachers and other unit personnel at all grade levels and in all subject areas, in common planning activities.”
Common Planning. The following scheduling adjustments will be made when the district determines to schedule common planning time: 1. The specific common planning days will be designated in the calendar. Common planning time will consist of approximately one (1) hour and thirty (30) minutes per day. The amount of student instructional time within the one (1) hour and thirty (30) minutes will be reallocated over a two (2) week period. 2. On common planning days, the length of secondary preparation and class periods will be reduced and equalized. 3. All bargaining unit members will remain at work for a total of twenty (20) minutes per day outside of the commencement and dismissal times for students. The allocation of such time will be determined by the building principal. 4. Common planning time may include those committee assignments listed in Article 5.B.
Common Planning. The Board and Association agree that common planning time allows teaching staff to collaborate which enhances student learning in the district. A reasonable effort will be made to provide collaborative common planning time in consecutive minutes, based on a master schedule designed by administration, in consultation with teaching staff. The Board will endeavor to provide effective collaborative planning and individual preparation time for all teachers, at all levels. The number of minutes of collaborative common planning is not defined so as to provide flexibility to each team. Any non-instructional time that is not used for collaborative common planning shall be designated as individual planning time.

  • Transition Planning The AGENCY will be responsible for the development of the student’s Transition Plan, which begins upon entry and is completed prior to the student’s exit.

  • Multi-Year Planning The CAPS will be in a form acceptable to the LHIN and may be required to incorporate (1) prudent multi-year financial forecasts; (2) plans for the achievement of performance targets; and (3) realistic risk management strategies. It will be aligned with the LHIN’s then current Integrated Health Service Plan and will reflect local LHIN priorities and initiatives. If the LHIN has provided multi-year planning targets for the HSP, the CAPS will reflect the planning targets.

  • Procurement Planning Prior to the issuance of any invitations to bid for contracts, the proposed procurement plan for the Project shall be furnished to the Association for its review and approval, in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 1 of Appendix 1 to the Guidelines. Procurement of all goods and works shall be undertaken in accordance with such procurement plan as shall have been approved by the Association, and with the provisions of said paragraph 1.

  • Business Continuity Planning Supplier shall prepare and maintain at no additional cost to Buyer a Business Continuity Plan (“BCP”). Upon written request of Buyer, Supplier shall provide a copy of Supplier’s BCP. The BCP shall be designed to ensure that Supplier can continue to provide the goods and/or services in accordance with this Order in the event of a disaster or other BCP-triggering event (as such events are defined in the applicable BCP). Supplier’s BCP shall, at a minimum, provide for: (a) the retention and retrieval of data and files; (b) obtaining resources necessary for recovery, (c) appropriate continuity plans to maintain adequate levels of staffing required to provide the goods and services during a disruptive event; (d) procedures to activate an immediate, orderly response to emergency situations; (e) procedures to address potential disruptions to Supplier’s supply chain; (f) a defined escalation process for notification of Buyer, within two (2) business days, in the event of a BCP-triggering event; and (g) training for key Supplier Personnel who are responsible for monitoring and maintaining Supplier’s continuity plans and records. Supplier shall maintain the BCP and test it at least annually or whenever there are material changes in Supplier’s operations, risks or business practices. Upon Xxxxx’s written and reasonable request, Supplier shall provide Buyer an executive summary of test results and a report of corrective actions (including the timing for implementation) to be taken to remedy any deficiencies identified by such testing. Upon Xxxxx’s request and with reasonable advance notice and conducted in such a manner as not to unduly interfere with Supplier’s operations, Supplier shall give Buyer and its designated agents access to Supplier’s designated representative(s) with detailed functional knowledge of Supplier’s BCP and relevant subject matter.

  • Strategic Planning Facilitate the effective alignment of IT requirements/ Information Resource Management (IRM) plans with strategic business plans and program initiatives. Management Improvements: Development and implementation of improved systems and business practices to optimize productivity and service delivery operations (e.g., analysis, and implementation of improvements in the flow of IT work and program processes and tool utilization, including business system analysis, identification of requirements for streamlining, re-engineering, or re-structuring internal systems/business processes for improvement, determination of IT solution alternatives, benchmarking).

  • Discharge Planning If further care at home or in another facility is appropriate following discharge from the Hospital, Blue Shield will work with the Member, the attending Physician and the Hospital discharge planners to determine the most appropriate and cost effective way to provide this care.

  • Contingency Planning The Official Agency in conjunction with the Authority shall ensure that there are contingency plans in place at appropriate levels for dealing with food related crises and incidents. The contingency plan shall be in line with Article 115 of Regulation (EU) 2017/625 and include arrangements for activation of the plan, establishment of a crisis team, communication and information, out of hours contacts and on call services. As part of these plans, the Official Agency will provide the Authority with contact points for both office hours and out of office hours contact for emergency and crisis situations. The Official Agency shall facilitate training of personnel in the operation and exercise of the contingency plans. Periodic review of the plans shall take place in consultation with the Authority. The Official Agency shall implement the agreed Inter-Agency Protocol for the Management of a Food Crisis and guidance on Management of Outbreaks of Foodborne Illness as per Section 1.19.
