Compensation Advancement. An employee shall advance to the next pay level on the compensation schedule upon the satisfactory completion of a work year in which the employee has provided services for at least one- half (50%) of his/her scheduled work year.
Compensation Advancement. Employees shall receive the annual base salary increase as specified in 7.111 and Appendix "B" upon the completion of at least one full semester. For the purpose of this provision, employees on a paid sick leave or sabbatical leave shall be deemed to have rendered professional services for the period of such leave.
Compensation Advancement. An employee shall advance to the next step on the salary schedule upon the completion of one school year or the equivalent, provided that the employee shall have rendered professional services for more than sixty (60%) percent of such year. An employee on a paid leave shall be deemed to have rendered professional services for the period of such leave.

An employee shall advance on the salary schedule automatically at the beginning of each school year unless an employee shall have received a definite written statement of unsatisfactory service and the recommendation of Employer of no advancement on the salary schedule prior to April 1 of the previous school year. In such event, the employee shall have the right to a private or public hearing before the Board of Education, if requested within fifteen (15) days after receipt of such notice. For the purpose of this provision, unsatisfactory service shall be defined by the evaluation instrument and proper administration of the same.

For the purpose of this provision, an employee on paid sick leave shall be deemed to have rendered services for the period of such leave.
Compensation Advancement. An employee shall be advanced to the next higher rate in the appropriate range after the completion of each full year of service, provided his service has been satisfactory. An employee’s salary may be advanced to the higher rates within the range as recommended by the Department or Division Head and approved by the Town Manager based upon performance and length of service. Such advancement shall be made yearly until the employee has reached the maximum rate of the salary range for his position. Anniversary dates for such review shall be the employee's last date of appointment or promotion. • Upon completing 20 years of service to the Town and 1 year at step 8, the employee is eligible to move to Seniority Step A (step 20) which is calculated at 1% above the step 8 salary. • Upon completing 25 years of service to the Town and 1 year at step 8, the employee is eligible to move to Seniority Step B (step 25) which is calculated at 1% above the Seniority Step A salary.
Compensation Advancement. Any employee who has not received a step increase will be given that increase twelve
Compensation Advancement. In order to comply with Section 164h (1) (d) of PA 108 of 2017, the Board shall adopt policies to comply with this provision and communicate the details of those policies to employees before they take effect.
Compensation Advancement. A Department Head shall be advanced to the next higher rate in the appropriate range after the completion of each full year of service. Such advancement shall be made yearly until the Department Head has reached the maximum rate of the salary range for their position. Anniversary dates for such review shall be the Department Head’s last date of appointment or promotion. If a Department Head has been granted an increase as provided for under 5.2.1 above during the first years of service, they shall be eligible for the remaining portion of the increment on his next anniversary date.
Compensation Advancement. Any employee who has worked one hundred (100) or more school days in a school term shall be entitled to advancement in compensation.
