Compensation for Accrued Vacation-Leave. Upon the completion of employment with the City, an employee, or employee's estate, shall be entitled to receive a cash payout equal to 100% of the value of accrued unused vacation credit, computed from the last base wage of the employee, including all base monthly special assignment and incentive pay. Payment shall be made as soon as practicable following the termination of employment.

Compensation for Accrued Vacation-Leave. 1. Upon separation, employees will be compensated for all vacation leave accrued, except for the additional hours accrued above the current cap during the term of this Agreement, in accordance with these rules and regulations. Such compensation shall be at the employee’s salary rate at the time of separation.

Vacation leave accrual for part-time employees will be proportionate to the number of hours the part-time employee is in pay status during the month to that required for full-time employment.
