Compensation for Paid Holidays Falling on Sunday. When any of the above-noted holidays fall on a Sunday and is not proclaimed as being observed on some other day, the following Monday (or Tuesday, where the preceding clause already applied to the Monday) shall be deemed to be the statutory holiday for employees whose normal work week is Monday to Friday. For other employees, the statutory holiday shall be observed on the day on which it falls.

Compensation for Paid Holidays Falling on Sunday. When any of the above-noted holidays falls on a Sunday and is not proclaimed as being observed on some other day, the following Monday (or Tuesday, where the preceding clause already applied to the Monday) shall be deemed to be the paid holiday for employees whose normal work week is Monday to Friday. For other employees the paid holiday shall be observed on the day on which it falls. Pay for Work on Scheduled Paid Holiday Employees who are not required to work on the above holidays shall receive holiday pay equal to one day’s pay. Employees who are required to work shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half plus time off with pay equal to the number of hours worked at a time mutually agreeable between the employee and the Employer. Employees who are required to work may elect to take the entire composition in pay rather than a combination of pay and time-off.

  • Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays, etc If the last or appointed day for the taking of any action or the expiration of any right required or granted herein shall not be a Business Day, then such action may be taken or such right may be exercised on the next succeeding Business Day.

  • Compensation for Holidays Falling Within Vacation Schedule If a paid holiday falls on or is observed during an Employee's vacation period, she shall be allowed an additional vacation day with pay at a time mutually agreed upon by the Employer and the Employee.
