Confined Space. Program The Contractor shall develop an activity/site-specific confined space program to include elements addressed in paragraph 34.A of EM 385-1-1 and comply with relevant requirements in 29 CFR 1910, 29 CFR 1915, and 29 CFR 1926, OSHA Directive CPL 2.100 and any other Federal, state and local regulatory standards.
Confined Space. When employees are required to work inside hulls, scows or derricks that are not designated as a normal work area, they will receive a premium of two dollars ($2.00) per hour over and above their regular hourly rate. A two (2) hour minimum will apply. This premium will not apply when an employee is required to inspect a scow or xxxxxxx and the time spent performing this duty takes less than one half (½) hour.
Confined Space. An Employee required to work in a confined space will be paid an allowance per hour, or part thereof, when an entry permit is required. Employees Accepting Responsibility to Statutory Authorities An Employee who is required to act on their plumbers or gasfitters licence(s), issued by an appropriate state authority, will be paid an additional amount per week for each week of their employment, regardless of whether or not they have in fact acted on such licence(s) during that particular week Acting on one’s licence means signing notices and assuming responsibility to relevant authorities. The Employer will commence paying this allowance as soon as the Employee begins performing work which they are authorised by their license(s) to perform. Employee Acting on Welding Certificate Subject to subclause 34.16, an Employee who is requested by the Employer to weld pipes (whether that being by Oxygen/ Acetylene, Arc, MIG, TIG or plastic welding) will be paid an additional amount per hour for each type of welding, whether or not they have in any hour actually performed welding. No employee shall be entitled to be paid for more than 2 types of welding. This allowance shall not apply for all plumbing work with respect to the joining together of plastic, PVC and/ or polythenol materials (e.g. HDPE and MDPE).
Confined Space. If access to confined space by Company is required for the performance of Services, Services shall be scheduled and performed in accordance with Company’s then-current hourly rate.

Confined Space. An employee required to work in a confined space shall be paid 58 cents per hour or part thereof.
Confined Space. Employees certified in confined space entry and required to perform confined space tunnel work shall be compensated a $5.00 per hour for all hours worked in that capacity. The $5.00 per hour will be in addition to their regular pay.
Confined Space. No person shall enter a confined space such as manholes, underground vaults, tanks, pipes, tunnels, or other similar places until it is determined that it is Safe to enter the space by an approved method. Subcontractor competent person is responsible for identifying any potential confined space and shall initially determine if a permit required confined space exists. A pre-planning meeting must be held if a confined space exits and proper procedures followed to ensure worker safety. Due to general liability exposure created by improper traffic control, all flagging, training, lane closures, etc. shall conform to the most current edition of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). Local permitting issues shall be addressed by Webcor/Obayashi prior to the start of work. All workers in the traffic control area must be trained according to local, state and federal requirements and wear the appropriate reflective vest or high visibility clothing. Stop/Slow paddles, not flags, must be used to control traffic flow.
Confined Space. An employee required to work in a Confined Space will be paid the following applicable rate extra per hour or part thereof.
Confined Space. An employee shall be paid an allowance of 56 cents per hour when, because of the dimensions of the compartment or space in which the employee is working, the employee is required to work in a stooped or otherwise cramped position, or without proper ventilation.
