CONTRACT MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. 1. The main purpose of the Contract Management Committee is to insure the smooth implementation of the Collective Agreement as it applies to Education and to clarify specific areas of the Agreement, when necessary. The Committee will meet once per month, unless otherwise specified by consensus of the members with the primary purpose of engaging in informal discussions regarding items relevant to the bargaining unit and to the operation of the Collective Agreement. Discussions will also enable Committee members to become aware of the Board‘s educational plans and objectives.
2. If a consensus is not reached on a specific item, then either party can resort to Article A6,
CONTRACT MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. A. The Board and the KCGMFT support the concept of Win-Win Negotiations and will work as a team to resolve mutual concerns and problems.
B. In order to facilitate communications between the Board and the KCGMFT, a Contract Management Committee (CMC) comprised of representatives from the KCGMFT and the Board will meet on a regular basis to discuss topics and resolve issues and problems.
C. Nothing in this article shall be construed to prevent the bargaining unit member or the KCGMFT from filing a grievance, or to prevent either party from making a negotiations proposal. However, the five (5) day grievance filing deadline in Article 6.D of this agreement may be delayed, by mutual consent of the parties, until a solution or recommendation is made by the CMC.
D. The CMC will attempt to resolve issues and problems prior to implementing the grievance procedure or referring them to the negotiations process. However, a problem may be taken through the grievance procedure and/or through the CMC at the same time or separately.
E. Issues or problems may be referred by the CMC, the KCGMFT, the Board, or a bargaining unit member to the grievance procedure or negotiations process if it is deemed that the CMC is not the appropriate committee to meet and resolve the issue or problem.
F. The parties shall meet at least sixty (60) days prior to the expiration of this agreement to identify issues and begin the bargaining of a successor agreement. If pursuant to such negotiations an agreement is not reached prior to the expiration date, this agreement will remain in effect until a successor agreement is reached, or until the Board and/or the KCGMFT gives notice, in writing, of a desire for changes or termination.

However, the ten (10) day grievance filing deadline in Article XXII, Section C, of this agreement is delayed until a solution or recommendation is made by the CMC.
D. The CMC will attempt to resolve issues and problems prior to implementing the grievance procedure or referring them to the negotiations process. However, a problem may be taken through the grievance procedure and/or through the CMC at the same time or separately.
E. Issues or problems may be referred by the CMC, the Union, the Board, or an employee to the grievance procedure or negotiations process if it is deemed that the CMC is not the appropriate committee to meet and resolve the issue or problem.
F. As the district implements legislated school reforms, the Contract Management Committee shall serve as the vehicle through which such reforms and their impact on schools shall be discussed. Through the presentation of a problem statement to the Contract Management Committee, either the KEA or the Board may initiate discussion of a legislated school reform that the district is seeking to implement.
G. The parties agree that the contract should provide flexibility for innovation in education programs and staffing. To facilitate contract flexibility, buildings, grade levels, or departments may initiate contract deviation requests to allow the building, grade levels, or departments to vary from the contract. The Contract Management Committee shall provide guidelines for developing and processing contract deviations. Buildings, grade levels, or departments shall submit requests on the contract deviation form and according to the guidelines printed on the back of the form. For buildings, grade levels, or departments to submit contract deviation requests there must be a 2/3 approval vote of affected bargaining unit members voting in the building, grade level, or department. CONTRACT MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. 21.1 There will be a Contract Management Committee (“Committee” or “CMC”) to support the delivery of professional, efficient and effective police services under this Agreement and to meet the evolving needs of each Party.
21.2 The Committee will provide a forum for information sharing between Committee representatives in order to xxxxxx timely consultation and collaboration on service delivery, policing policies, and other issues that will or may affect the governance, costs, quality or capacity of:
a) the Service in any of the provinces or territories with representatives on the Committee; or
b) a RCMP Program.
21.3 a) Issues and proposals that will or may affect governance, cost, quality or capacity of the Service, or a RCMP Program, will be brought to the Committee‟s attention in a reasonable and timely manner in order to allow for meaningful consultation and collaboration on such issues prior to decisions on such matters being made.
CONTRACT MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. The Contract Management Committee shall consist of three (3) members of the Association selected by the Association and three (3) individuals designated by the District to meet monthly during the school year. In any given month, should both groups agree there is no need to meet, that monthly meeting will be skipped. Meetings of the Contract Management Committee will be held at a time mutually set by the District and Association members of that Committee.
CONTRACT MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. 19.1 The following provisions of the Provincial Police Service Agreement apply to the Municipal Police Service:
a) Article 20 Bilateral Reviews;
CONTRACT MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. The contract management committee will be continued for the purpose of discussing ongoing problems and issues, and implementing the contract.
CONTRACT MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. 19.1 The parties acknowledge that the Provincial Police Service Agreement establishes a Contract Management Committee (“Committee” or “CMC”) to support the delivery of professional, efficient and effective policing services and to meet the evolving needs of policing.
19.2 The Province may designate one individual from among all municipalities in the province receiving RCMP municipal police services under an agreement with Canada as an associate member who will represent all those municipalities.
19.3 Amendments to the Provincial Police Service Agreement resulting from a review provided for in Article 22 (CMC Five Year Reviews) of that agreement will be applicable to and binding on this Agreement.
