CONTRACTOR Relations Meetings. 4.1. An individual from the CONTRACTOR’s Executive or Management staff shall attend the COUNTY SUD CONTRACTOR Relations meeting held once every other month. 4.2. Educational programs shall not replace treatment by licensed and certified alcohol and drug CONTRACTORS. Educational programming may be used in addition to treatment when indicated as a result of screening/assessment by COUNTY staff OR when screening/assessment does not indicate a need for alcohol/drug treatment but the client is anticipated to benefit from educational programming. 2. CONTRACTOR shall abide by and comply with all Federal, State, City, and County laws, rules and regulations. 3. Program shall be designed to be relevant to the forensic participants when dealing with clients involved in the legal system, either in or out of custody. CONTRACTOR may also accept referrals for non-forensic clients through Placer County Adult or Children’s Systems of Care. 4. CONTRACTOR shall present the COUNTY with current proof of insurance and applicable professional licensure. 5. CONTRACTOR staff are defined as mandated reporters of suspected child abuse/neglect and shall make Child Protective Services (CPS) reports as necessary. 6. CONTRACTOR shall set fees, determine client’s ability to pay, collect fees (as payment or co- payment) from clients, and bill private insurance, or COUNTY, as appropriate. 7. CONTRACTOR shall utilize System of Care principles which support a client/family-centered approach to the development of a single case plan for each family/individual who is involved in multiple systems. 8. Evidence-based forensic treatment practices shall be employed whenever the CONTRACTOR is dealing with clients involved in the legal system. 9. Provided services shall be culturally competent. 10. Educational programs shall use best practices related to special populations including women, perinatal women, men, forensic clients, and clients with co-occurring disorders.
