Cost Participation. The Partners agree that the initial funding for the Project shall be through a State of Minnesota (the “State”) bond in the approximate amount of $781,000.00. Should the costs associated with the Project exceed the initial bond amount received from the State, the Partners shall pay an allocated portion of the remaining costs in accordance with the Lower Mississippi River Watershed Management Organization’s allowable flow calculations or other negotiated allocation by the Partners. The Partners cost participation in the Project is divided into design, construction, and long-term maintenance expenses. The Partners will amend or supplement this JPA with allowable flow calculations or negotiated allocation by the Partners prior to the completion of the final design.
Cost Participation. 6.1 The County shall pay all construction estimates due to the Contractor upon completion of the work, including partial estimates.
Cost Participation a. It is mutually agreed by and between the parties hereto that the estimated cost and cost proration for this improvement is as shown on Table A. As shown in Table A, the COUNTY shall not have any cost participation in the bikeway or Xxxxxxxx Street portions of the project.
Cost Participation. Roadway The County will be responsible for 100% of the costs of existing pavement and/or curb and gutter retained and/or rehabilitated through mill and overlay, resurfacing, reclamation, or other methods, as part of the final project. Due to new development, improvements consisting of roadway widening and striping for left turn lanes at the intersection of Oakdale Avenue and Xxxxxxxx Xxxx will be constructed to address traffic changes and improve safety. The County will participate up to 50 percent (50%) of all costs associated with the design and construction of left turn lane improvements at this intersection. The City shall be responsible for 50 percent (50%) of the cost of this improvement.
Cost Participation. Aesthetic Aesthetic elements for the Project consist of roundabout center island landscaping and plantings to improve traffic safety and operations of the roundabout by making it more conspicuous and by lowering speeds. The roundabout landscaping design shall adhere to Dakota County and MnDOT standard practices to maintain adequate sight distances while also enhancing the sight blockage zones. The County will participate up to 50 percent (50%) of the cost of the center island aesthetic elements up to a maximum amount of three percent (3%) of the County’s share (prior to application of Federal funding) of highway construction costs. Highway construction costs exclude costs for items such as right of way, storm sewer and ponding. The City shall be responsible for 50 percent (50%) of the costs of all aesthetic elements and 100 percent (100%) of the costs that exceed the County’s maximum participation for aesthetic elements. Irrigation systems are considered a maintenance cost and the City shall be responsible for 100 percent (100%) of the install, maintenance and operational costs. The responsibility for maintenance of all aesthetic elements shall be in accordance with County policies included in the current adopted Dakota County Transportation Plan.
Cost Participation. The County will participate in the construction costs for the Project as provided herein. County’s Total Cost Participation. The County’s total cost participation in the Project shall be calculated as twenty five percent (25%) of construction costs up to a Not to Exceed (NTE) amount of $200,000 (“County Cost Participation”). Exhibit A identifies the actual bid prices obtained by the City and the County’s share.

The County’s cost participation shall be a not to exceed (NTE) amount of Seventy Five Thousand Dollars and No Cents ($75,000.00). The City understands and agrees that the County’s total and only cost participation for the Project shall be an NTE amount of $75,000.00. In the event that the actual construction costs of the project come below an estimated amount, the County’s cost participation in such a case shall be 50% of the actual amount or an NTE amount of $75,000.00, whichever is less. Upon completion of the Project per the scope of work set forth in the “whereas” clauses above and the “Project Checklist for Infrastructure Funding Recipients,” attached herein, the City shall notify the County and submit an invoice for one hundred percent (100%) of the County’s share of the costs for the Project. The invoice shall include: date of invoice, invoice number, name of the project manager (Xx. Xxxxxx Xxxxx, P.E.), project name, county project number (C.P. 2183506), contract number, and purchase order number. The City shall include one project per invoice, provide the County with complete as built plans, and before and after photographs of the Project. Upon approval and acceptance of the completed project as well as all MnDOT ADA Compliance Checklist forms by the County Engineer or designated representative and within forty-five (45) days of receipt of the invoice, the County shall reimburse the City for its share of the costs for the Project. Cost Participation. The City’s cost participation in the Project is to be managed pursuant to the CCA. Notwithstanding any prior provision to the contrary, the City will cost participate in the County supplied equipment consisting of a traffic control signal cabinet equipped with controller, video detection equipment, and required accessories (“County Supplied Equipment”) to be installed as a part of the Project at an estimated amount of Thirty Thousand Dollars and No Cents ($30,000.00) (“City’s Cost Participation in County Supplied Equipment”).
