Cultural Competency Training. Contractor shall provide cultural competency, sensitivity, or diversity training for staff, Network Providers and First Tier, Downstream and Related Entities with direct Enrollee interaction. The training shall cover information about the identified cultural groups in the Contractor’s Service Areas, such as the groups’ beliefs about illness and health; methods of interacting with providers and the health care structure; and, language and literacy needs including limited English proficiency; and diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds.

Cultural Competency Training a. After the quarterly review of data, complaints and incident reports, if any, the District may suggest that security guards serving the District could benefit from cultural competency training. If so suggested, the District will provide such training. The training will be conducted on paid District time and the curriculum may be reviewed by the Contractor prior to the training being offered.
Cultural Competency Training. Contractor shall provide cultural competency, sensitivity, or diversity training for staff, Network Providers, and Subcontractors at key points of contact. The training shall promote access and the delivery of services in a culturally competent manner to all Members, regardless of race, color, national origin, creed, ancestry, religion, language, age, marital status, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, health status, physical or mental disability, or identification with any other persons or groups defined in Penal Code 422.56. The training shall cover information about the identified cultural groups in the Contractor’s Service Areas, such as the groups’ beliefs about illness and health; methods of interacting with providers and the health care structure; traditional home remedies that may impact what the provider is trying to do to treat the patient; and, language and literacy needs.
Cultural Competency Training. A minimum of (3) Cultural Competency Trainings specific to the residents of the Canal will be organized and conducted by the two CBOs with MCM taking the lead. MCM has experience in this area and will build upon prior efforts with a particular focus on the Project. Language, culture, norms, perceptions, and empathy training will be included, with a focus on the immigrant experience of people from Guatemala, Mexico, and Vietnam living in San ▇▇▇▇▇▇. These will include information on the variety of affinity groups, resources, programs, and service providers currently engaged with residents. Trainings will be primarily focused on City and County staff and open to other government agencies and stakeholders.
Cultural Competency Training. In support of the State's aim as defined in clause 8.2, the Contractor must: ensure that all Contract Workers receive ongoing Aboriginal cultural competency training approved by the State which addresses:
(i) working with Aboriginal people;
(ii) creating cultural safety;
(iii) recognising and overcoming systemic racism;
(iv) diversity of Aboriginal cultures and languages in Western Australia;
(v) impact of colonialism and dispossession; and
(vi) understanding intergenerational trauma; conduct specific regular Aboriginal consultation with respect to the performance of the Services which impact on Aboriginal people and/or Aboriginal communities, for the purpose of improving those Services for Aboriginal people and their communities and to discuss developing practices in the issue of the recruitment and retention of Aboriginal Contract Workers; within 10 Business Days of the commencement of each Operation Year, submit to the State a report which outlines the consultation undertaken in accordance with clause 8.3(b) and the Contractor’s proposed actions arising from the consultation and how the actions will be implemented; and establish an Aboriginal Services Committee chaired by the Superintendent with a focus on appropriate management and delivery of services to Aboriginal Prisoners.

The training shall cover information about the identified cultural groups in the Contractor’s Service Areas, such as the groups’ beliefs about illness and health; methods of interacting with Providers and the health care structure; traditional home remedies that may impact what the Provider is trying to do to treat the patient; and, language and literacy needs.
Cultural Competency Training. All certificates of completion will be submitted to Mariposa County BHRS within 10 days of completion of the training. MCBHRS is seeking proposals for two Patients’ Rights Advocates. Services must be provided by a trained Patients’ Rights Advocate, training requirements indicated below. All Patients’ Rights Advocates must pass training and a background check before providing services.
