Definition of Workload. The workload for teaching faculty will be calculated in terms of “workload units” (WLU) associated with each course in the College’s curriculum inventory and non-teaching work hours assigned per week. The workload unit value for each course assignment shall be as referenced in the master course outline developed through the College’s curriculum committee process. The workload for non-teaching faculty shall be expressed in terms of work hours per week.

Definition of Workload. For bargaining unit faculty members who are not faculty specialists, the maximum full-time faculty workload shall be twenty-four (24) credit hours of regularly-scheduled courses or equivalent in any one (1) academic or alternate-academic year, or six (6) credit hours or equivalent in the summer I or summer II sessions. For fiscal year appointments, the maximum full-time workload shall be thirty (30) credit hours of regularly-scheduled courses or equivalent per fiscal year. It shall be possible, by mutual agreement between a faculty member and the department chair, to balance out a smaller teaching load in one (1) semester/session with a larger teaching load in another semester/session. For faculty specialists, the maximum full-time workload shall conform to the provisions of Article 20, Faculty Specialists.
Definition of Workload. For purpose of determining workload, “teacher” is defined at the secondary level as a certificated employee whose assignment is classroom instruction, and at the elementary level as being a certificated person, other than librarians, music teachers, reading specialists, Chapter 1 teachers, physical education teachers, and Special Service personnel, whose assignment is classroom instruction.   • Location of Work The Executive shall be based in the United States in West Orange, New Jersey. However, the Executive agrees to undertake whatever domestic and worldwide travel is required by the Company. The Contractor shall bear all costs of correcting such rejected Work, including compensation for the Architect's and the State’s additional services made necessary thereby. The Architect, upon a finding of defect or failure to conform, shall immediately notify the State and Contractor, in writing, of the defect. The Contractor shall begin correcting the defective or non-conforming Work within ten (10) days unless the State agrees to a Change Order which reflects the reduction in Contract Sum due to the value of diminishment of the defective or nonconforming Work.
