Deputy Clerk. This memorandum is between the County of Santa Cruz (County) and the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) to fulfill the requirements imposed by Chapter (AB 2283). The purpose of this Agreement is for the County to perform high-risk inspection services for CDFA, and for CDFA to reimburse the County for these inspection activities. The County will furnish all equipment and labor necessary to perform inspection and enforcement activities at an optimal level. The activities under this Agreement shall be completed within the time frame outlined. ⚫ The County will perform high-risk pest exclusion activities as required by Chapter (AB 2283) attached as Exhibit A, and by this reference made a part hereof, to maintain an optimal service level pest exclusion program. ⚫ The County will perform the activities agreed upon between the County and CDFA as shown in the attached Negotiated Work Plan, which is attached and incorporated as Exhibit B. This Agreement shall be effective December through June 30, 1999. The total amount payable under this Agreement shall not exceed 1.75 which is Santa Cruz County’s share of the funding that is available for high-risk pest exclusion activities. This amount is derived from the estimated high-risk pest exclusion annual cost of 17.46 you submitted based on the hourly cost to perform these activities as outlined in Exhibit B. Payment shall be made monthly in arrears upon submission and approval of an itemized invoice (Exhibit C) and monthly submission of a completed Report Form 4a (Exhibit D). The itemization on the invoice, shall include the percentage rate of overhead charged by the County on the high-risk pest exclusion activities. The County shall submit this itemized, monthly invoice, in triplicate, referencing Agreement number 98-0377 and send to: California Department of Food and Agriculture, Pest Exclusion Branch, 0000 X Xxxxxx, Xxxxx X-000, Xxxxxxxxxx, Xxxxxxxxxx 000 14. This Agreement shall not be effective unless signed by both parties and approved by the Department of General Services, if required. A copy of a resolution, order, motion, orordinance of the local governing body having, by law, the authority to authorize execution of this Agreement must be included when the contracting party is a county. Deputy Clerk. The Employer hereby consents and agrees to negotiate with the Union, or any of its authorized committees, concerning all matters affecting the relationship between the parties to this Collective Agreement, looking towards a peaceful and amicable settlement of any differences that may arise between them. The parties agree that the work of the Building and Bylaw Enforcement Officer is not currently being performed. If at anytime an employee of the Employer performs this work the position shall be included within the bargaining unit and the terms and conditions of these employees will be subject to negotiations between the parties.
Deputy Clerk. The approval of this subscriber agreement application is subject to the discretion of the Clerk of the Circuit Court. By signing this agreement, the subscriber(s) acknowledge and accept the terms and conditions as incorporated by reference herein.
Deputy Clerk. Each of the Commission’s staff performing services in a Court facility under this Agreement must be formally appointed as a deputy to have access to the Court’s databases and perform clerical work that is similar to that of a Court employee. The appointee must have attained the age of 18 and be a United States citizen. The Appointment of Deputy form and oath must be signed personally by an authorized principal of the Court. The appointee will take an oath to be performed by a qualified officer of the Court. The Court shall file the completed Appointment of Deputy Form and Oath with the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk. The Court shall also be responsible for the revocation of the appointment of Commission staff that has been terminated and/or no longer performs services in a Court location under this Agreement. Deputized Commission staff shall be required to follow the same cash handling and other policy and procedures as deputized Court staff.

  • Secretary “Secretary” shall mean the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services or his designee.

  • Secretary; Assistant Secretary The Secretary shall record all proceedings of the Shareholders and the Trustees in books to be kept therefor, which books or a copy thereof shall be kept at the principal office of the Trust.   • Certificate of Chief Financial Officer On the date of this Agreement and on the Closing Date or the Additional Closing Date, as the case may be, the Company shall have furnished to the Representatives a certificate, dated the respective dates of delivery thereof and addressed to the Underwriters, of its chief financial officer with respect to certain financial data contained in the Pricing Disclosure Package and the Prospectus, providing “management comfort” with respect to such information, in form and substance reasonably satisfactory to the Representatives.

  • President Unless the Trustees otherwise provide, the President shall preside at all meetings of the shareholders and of the Trustees. Unless the Trustees otherwise provide, the President shall be the chief executive officer.

  • Vice Chairman In the absence of the Chairman of the Board, the Vice Chairman shall preside at all meetings of the Board of Directors and of the unitholders of the MLP; and he shall have such other powers and duties as from time to time may be assigned to him by the Board of Directors.

  • Managing Director 1. The Managing Director shall be appointed by the Board of Governors from among candidates having the nationality of an ESM Member, relevant international experience and a high level of competence in economic and financial matters. Whilst holding office, the Managing Director may not be a Governor or Director or an alternate of either. 2. The term of office of the Managing Director shall be five years. He or she may be re-appointed once. The Managing Director shall, however, cease to hold office when the Board of Governors so decides. 3. The Managing Director shall chair the meetings of the Board of Directors and shall participate in the meetings of the Board of Governors. 4. The Managing Director shall be chief of the staff of the ESM. He or she shall be responsible for organising, appointing and dismissing staff in accordance with staff rules to be adopted by the Board of Directors. 5. The Managing Director shall be the legal representative of the ESM and shall conduct, under the direction of the Board of Directors, the current business of the ESM.

  • General Counsel The General Counsel subject to the discretion of the Board of Directors, shall be responsible for the management and direction of the day-to-day legal affairs of the Company. The General Counsel shall perform such other duties and may exercise such other powers as may from time to time be assigned to him by the Board of Directors or the President.

  • Chairman An individual (who need not be a Registered Warrantholder) designated in writing by the Warrant Agent shall be chairman of the meeting and if no individual is so designated, or if the individual so designated is not present within fifteen minutes from the time fixed for the holding of the meeting, the Registered Warrantholders present in person or by proxy shall choose an individual present to be chairman.

  • Assistant Professor An Assistant Professor is a member of a Faculty of the University who shall ordinarily have the following minimum qualifications: (a) A doctoral degree; (b) Aptitude for teaching university students. The doctoral requirement may be waived if the Candidate has a record of suitable teaching, scholarship as defined in Article 1.1(n); or, in lieu of such a record, has professional qualifications and experience to enable him/her to make an appropriate academic contribution to the University.
