Design Notes Sample Clauses

Design Notes. Throughout the previous views on the ontology many of the activities have made use of a design note. Here a design note may be any document that records rationale, decisions and directions for the modelling process. These may be produced at any point and are a vital part of understanding why the final product of a design process takes the form it does. In Figure 25 we see that the activity of design note creation may be linked to the outputs of many of the main activities in the INTO-CPS tool chain, this is important so we may revisit the evidence from which the note was created. Figure 26 shows the files associated with design notes. Figure 26: BDD showing the design note files Figure 27: 3D view of the line follow robot generated by its co-model.

Design Notes. Project design notes shall be recorded, using computation paper, to maintain an accurate record of the assumptions made for the basis of design, formulas applied and their sources, computations, and a summary of findings. The design notes should be clear and concise so that any technical personnel can review and understand the notes fully without prior knowledge of the project. Design notes shall be bound, stapled, or otherwise attached in a set with all pages consecutively numbered. The cover sheet shall indicate the correct number of pages in the set of design notes. The design notes should clearly indicate: • The purpose and intent of the computation or design; iFlorida Program Quality Control Plan Version 1 • A clear statement of the trial-by-trial or step-by-step analysis of the problem or computation, including bad assumptions or misdirection. Bad assumptions, misdirection, and the resulting computations are important records so that the different approaches form the complete design approach and eliminate subsequent repetition of a computation based on poor assumptions; • A check of the computations by a different mathematical approach or reference to similar results from computations on the other projects; • A statement of the factor of safety used in the design, understanding that the more unknowns or assumptions made to perform the computation, the greater the factor of safety should be; and • A statement of the findings and conclusions.
Design Notes. It is important to make this gallery feel new for the visitor (many will be returning and will have recently seen the Xxxxx Xxxxx show). Past exhibitions in the space have rarely experimented with creating a new atmosphere and changes have been limited to a repaint of the cases and new graphics. Because this exhibition heralds a reopening of a refurbished gallery, visitor expectations will be high. It is important that the exhibition design is sympathetic with the subject and evokes the luxury and elegance suggested by the ballgown and that the visitor will feel transported within the space. Key objects: Xxxxxxxxx Xxxxxx ‘Xxxxx Dress’ worn by Xxxxxxxx Xxxxx Xxxxxxxxx Xxxxxxx dress worn by Xxx Xxxxxx Xxxxx Xxxxxxx quilted and appliquéd ‘princess’ dress Film and Photography: Large screen: Interview with wearers and designers Archival footage of key British balls and ballgown wearers Photographs of wearers where available, alongside labels.
Design Notes. Red carpet Potential for trompe l’oeil graphic on wooden panel at top of staircase MEZZANINE: THE BALLROOM This space will show contemporary British Ballgowns on open display, ranging from pieces by couturiers to young emerging designers. The idea is to evoke the sense of a Ballroom through which the visitor can wander amongst the dresses. Design Notes: The space will be dramatically lit, there will be up to 40 dresses in the space, arranged on plinths. We would like to investigate the possibility of including a rotating platform to evoke a sense of movement. As we intend to open display the works on the upper level and due to the length of the show, we require some kind of structure to shield the garments from high levels of dust, which should be sympathetic to the exhibition design. These structures should not impinge on the ability to light the objects from the lighting rings as indicated on the drawings.

  • Design Development Documents See Section 2, Part 1, Article 2.1.5.

  • Schematic Design Documents In accordance with the approved Preliminary Design and Construction Schedule and based upon approval of and comments made by the Owner regarding the Concept Design Studies, the Design Professional shall prepare and submit to the Owner Schematic Design Documents, including drawings and outline specifications. These documents shall represent a further development of the approved design concept, providing additional detail and specificity regarding the intended design solution. Typically, all such documents shall be drawn to scale, indicating materials and assemblies, as appropriate, to convey the design intent and to illustrate the Project’s basic elements, scale and relationship to the Site. All major pieces of furniture and equipment to be fixed or supplied by the CM/GC shall be illustrated to scale. (See ASTM Standard Practice E 1804-02, August 2007, Sections 6.3, 8.2 and 8.3 for guidance on information which is generally developed in Schematic Design.)
