Designated Work. As used in this Article, the phrase designated work unit may include but shall not be limited to complex, district, facility or operation within a facility.

Designated Work. Area - An area which is set aside for the performance of the employee's official duties. The designated work area must be free from interruptions, and must provide the necessary level of security and protection of Government property.
Designated Work. The intent of this contract is to place with the Contractor the full and complete responsibility for professional janitorial services of a high degree of cleanliness and good appearance of the premises of any facility or location named herein, by performing for the Division the items of work set out in each separate Specification, Building Work Schedule and collectively on listed attachments attached hereto and made a part hereof. (a) Locations may be added or deleted from time to time, or changes made at particular location(s) by written agreement of the parties as evidenced by the execution of consecutively numbered amendments. Each consecutively numbered amendment shall list the added or deleted location, building, effective date, and net change in contract price per month for each location. If the amendment covers a new or deleted location, the full charge in monthly prices shall be shown. (b) In addition to the above, the Contractor shall, when requested in writing by a DFCM purchase order, perform such additional janitorial service work operations as may be designated by the Division, the contract price for which shall be agreed upon by the parties prior to the performance of such work. (c) The Division shall have the right to let separate contracts for other work to be performed at or adjacent to the site of the Contractor's operation that is not covered in this agreement in which event the Contractor shall cooperate in all reasonable ways to facilitate the operations of other contractors and shall avoid unnecessary interference therewith.
Designated Work. Groups (a) Each elected health and safety representative will be provided with reasonable access to facilities such as email, telephone, desk and computer, where available. An employee will be granted reasonable time release or paid time (including time in lieu) to attend to their functions as a health and safety representative, including but not limited to regularly inspecting workplaces (as defined by their Designated Work Group (DWG)), consulting with employees in their DWGs, OH&S representatives and other persons involved in the organising of employees’ health, safety and welfare. (b) Information about DWGs from the updated register(s) will be provided in electronic format to the CPSU on request. Requests may be made no more than quarterly.. The information provided will be in accordance with the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 (Vic). Where possible, this information will include: (i) a description, including the location, of each DWG within the TAC; (ii) the name of each elected health and safety representative; (iii) the date the health and safety representative was elected; (iv) a description of the training the health and safety representative has attended and the date of attendance; (v) the name and contact details of the nominated management representative responsible for each DWG; (vi) details of the structure of OH&S committees, their meeting frequency and the name and contact details of the committee convener; (vii) a list of vacancies for health and safety representatives in DWGs.

  • Related Work Leave not to exceed one (1) year may be granted to an employee to accept a position of fixed duration outside of State service which is funded by a government or private foundation grant and which is related to the employee's current work.

  • Outside Work All work necessary to the assembling, installation, erection, operation, maintenance, repair, control, in- spection and supervision of all electrical apparatus, devices, wires, cables, supports, insulators, conduc- tors, ducts and raceways when part of distributing systems outside of buildings, railroads and outside the directly related railroad property and yards. In- stalling and maintaining the catenary and trolley work on railroad property, and bonding of rails. All underground ducts and cables when they are in- stalled by and are part of the system of a distrib- uting company, except in power stations during new construction, including ducts and cables to adjacent switch racks or substations. All outdoor substations and electrical connections up to and including the setting of transformers and the connecting of the secondary buses thereto. Outside work to include renewable electrical energy sources such as solar photovoltaic, geothermal, wind, biomass, wave, etc., and other distributed en- ergy installations such as fuel cells, microturbines, etc.

  • Approved Working Drawings The Final Working Drawings shall be approved by Landlord (the “Approved Working Drawings”) prior to the commencement of construction of the Premises by Tenant. After approval by Landlord of the Final Working Drawings, Tenant may submit the same to the appropriate municipal authorities for all applicable building permits. Tenant hereby agrees that neither Landlord nor Landlord’s consultants shall be responsible for obtaining any building permit or certificate of occupancy for the Premises and that obtaining the same shall be Tenant’s responsibility; provided, however, that Landlord shall cooperate with Tenant in executing permit applications and performing other ministerial acts reasonably necessary to enable Tenant to obtain any such permit or certificate of occupancy. No changes, modifications or alterations in the Approved Working Drawings may be made without the prior written consent of Landlord, which consent may not be unreasonably withheld.

  • THE WORK The Work comprises the completed construction required by the Contract Documents and includes all labor necessary to produce such construction, and all materials and equipment incorporated or to be incorporated in such construction.

  • Day Work The Company shall structure the Project Working Hours to include one (1) half-hour rest break to be taken without deduction of pay by Employees working the Project Working Hours on any day (Monday to Saturday inclusive).

  • Performance of the Work The Contractor shall perform all of the Work required for the complete and prompt execution of everything described or shown in, or reasonably implied from the Contract Documents for the above referenced Project.

  • Shift Work Shift work is work not in excess of ordinary hours (ie 38 hours per week), but carried out wholly or partly between the hours of 7.00pm and 7.00am, Monday to Friday. Shift work is work scheduled at least 24 hours prior to the commencement of the shift. Employees required to work shift work will be paid at time and one quarter of the ordinary rate per hour for ordinary hours worked.

  • Development Work The Support Standards do not include development work either (i) on software not licensed from CentralSquare or (ii) development work for enhancements or features that are outside the documented functionality of the Solutions, except such work as may be specifically purchased and outlined in Exhibit 1. CentralSquare retains all Intellectual Property Rights in development work performed and Customer may request consulting and development work from CentralSquare as a separate billable service.

  • Project Work PURCHASER shall complete the following projects in accordance with the specifications provided in Exhibits B, C, D, E, and F and written instructions from STATE. Project locations are shown on Exhibit A unless otherwise described. PURCHASER shall furnish all material unless otherwise specified.

  • Modified Work Where the Hospital and the Union agree, the Hospital may implement modified/rehabilitative work programs in order to assist employees returning to work following illness or injury. To facilitate these programs, it is understood and agreed that provisions of the collective agreement may, where agreed, be varied. The specific terms of the program will be signed by the Hospital and the Union.
