Per Diem Rate. The Per Diem or Daily Rate for a bargaining unit member shall be determined by dividing the base salary for a bargaining unit member by 184.
Per Diem Rate. The cost charged per inmate, per inmate day for the delivery of operation and management services at the Facility.
Per Diem Rate. The per diem rate for detention services under this Agreement is fifty five dollars ($55.00) per man-day, subject to Article 1, Section 2 of this Agreement. This rate covers one inmate per day. A portion of any day will count as a man-day under this agreement.
Per Diem Rate. The per diem rate for instructors is calculated by dividing the annual rate by 202. Annual vacation pay, statutory holiday pay and Christmas holiday pay are included in each per diem amount thus calculated.
Per Diem Rate. In the event of: (1) deductions for absences on calendared duty days not covered by approved leave or (2) additional compensation for employment beyond the calendared duty days, the following method shall be used to compute the per diem rate: total contractual Schedule A salary shall be divided by the sum of days of class attendance, orientation, in-service, grade reporting and legal holidays, which days are part of the school calendar or which occur during the period covered by the school calendar. Per diem rates shall be computed using the method as described above. Legal holidays shall be defined as per the Revised School Code. Such holidays are currently listed as New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day immediately following Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas. This means that the Schedule A contract amount will be divided by the total teacher/ancillary staff days plus the holidays. The result is a daily rate of pay.
Per Diem Rate. An employee’s per diem rate is their annual salary including step, longevity, and stipends for the given year divided by the total number of paid days stipulated in Appendix A for that employee’s current job assignment plus paid holidays designated in the annual SMCPS operational calendar. Eligible stipends will be those that are specifically identified in this agreement as earnable income for the purposes of pension. The per diem rate for exempt employees will be prorated if less than a full duty day is worked.
Per Diem Rate a. For the first five days the Teacher in Charge shall be paid 60% of the difference between Category 6 Step 10 and the rate of pay of the Principal on a per diem rate if the Principal is absent for 90 minutes or longer.
b. From day 6 on the Teacher in Charge shall be paid 85% of the difference between Category 6 Step 10 and the rate of pay of the Principal.
Per Diem Rate. The per diem rate for faculty members is calculated by dividing the annual rate by 201. Annual vacation pay, statutory holiday pay and Christmas holiday pay are included in each per diem amount thus calculated.
Per Diem Rate. The above salary schedule includes the payment for the school term. The per diem rate is based upon the total number of days scheduled and the annual salary.
Per Diem Rate. Whenever in this Agreement, deduction of salary during a leave of absence is to be made, the amount of the deduction shall be calculated in accordance with the formula set out below:
