EDUCATE. During this phase, American Structurepoint will host a kickoff meeting with the identified stakeholders or steering committee and use this information to assemble a series of maps, existing land use patterns, and economic development assets, and base trade area data to form the basis of initial outreach conversations and future land use and policy recommendations including but not limited to the following items (depending on data availability). a. Land planning and economic development opportunities. i. Review of existing plans; ii. Market analysis to identify local industry clusters and potential target industries (location quotient, shift-share, and retail gaps); iii. Existing and recent business starts/location; iv. Education program and workforce development opportunities; v. Land use analysis and (if not provided by previous planning efforts); vi. Review existing zoning and development policies for both counties; and vii. Understand existing dynamics and relationships between the Counties to cooperate on potential shared initiatives. b. We will conduct meetings with identified stakeholder groups/individuals to understand further the property owner and local development community's interest opportunities along I-69. c. Existing and planned infrastructure, such as: i. Quality and location of existing roads, water, sewer, telecommunications, etc.; ii. Checklist of goals implemented from both counties CIPPs related to the I-69 corridor study area; and iii. Review of relevant yet-to-be implemented goals from both counties' CIPs

  • RELATIONSHIP WITH DIRECTORS Directors, officers and employees of the Advisor or an Affiliate of the Advisor may serve as Directors, officers or employees of the Company, except that no director, officer or employee of the Advisor or its Affiliates who also is a Director shall receive any compensation from the Company for serving as a Director other than reasonable reimbursement for travel and related expenses incurred in attending meetings of the Board.

  • PROFESSORS AND TEACHERS A professor or teacher who makes a temporary visit to a Contracting State for a period not exceeding two years for the purpose of teaching or conducting research at a university, college, school or other educational institution, and who is, or immediately before such visit was, a resident of the other Contracting State shall be exempt from tax in the first-mentioned Contracting State in respect of remuneration for such teaching or research.

  • Professional and Education Leaves (a) Leave of absence with pay or without pay may be granted to employees to attend professional and educational meetings, courses, or other events which may be judged beneficial to the employee's professional development, especially as it relates to her responsibilities with the Employer.

  • Training and Professional Development 11.1 The Employer will develop and maintain an employee training and development plan and provide such plan to the Union upon request. Staff training is intended to provide an opportunity for classified staff employees for training sponsored by the University Training and Development and the UW Medical Centers Organizational Development and Training. Education/Professional Leave is intended to facilitate employee access to continuing education opportunities. Training and educational/professional leave may be used for the purpose of improving job performance, maintaining and increasing proficiency, preparing staff for greater responsibility, or increasing promotional opportunities within the framework of staff positions available at the University. 11.2 Any release time for training for employees accepted for such classes shall be in accordance with the Executive Order (currently No. 52) governing this matter. In the event that two or more employees request the same training period and supervision must limit the number of persons who may participate at one time due to work requirements, the selection will be made on a mutually agreeable basis within the department. 11.3 The training program is a proper subject for discussion by either departmental or University-wide Joint Union/Management Committees. 11.4 If the Employer requires an employee to receive training, reimbursement will be provided in accordance with the University travel rules. Employee attendance at Employer required training, either during or outside working hours, will be considered time worked and compensated in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement. 11.5 Employee attendance at training not required by the Employer and not covered by Executive Order 52, either on approved leave from or outside of working hours, will be voluntary and not considered time worked.

  • Provide Information The Client will provide or cause to be provided to the Custodian all data, information, documents and instructions concerning the Client and the investment activity of the Client in relation to the Portfolio as may be reasonably necessary or as the Custodian may reasonably request, in each case in a complete, accurate and timely manner, in order to enable the Custodian to discharge its duties under this Agreement.
